Delta Airline VS US Airways

We flew through Delta on our way to San Francisco. Flying with Delta was awesome. They served us beverages and snacks (cookies, peanuts, and pretzels). The flight crew were very friendly and super nice too!  Our flight got there earlier than  scheduled.  I always love flying with them.
Minnesota  airport has a  very interesting setting.  The waiting area was  very crowded because   there is a food court where  you can eat and there are  stalls  that sells  souvenirs.  Every table has a built in  iPad (not sure if it was an iPad) which you can use to check  something online  while waiting for your flight.
While waiting for our connecting flight to San Francisco, we've waited at the area where it wasn't crowded and took some photos.
My kids have exercised their legs while walking on this Moving walkway.  They went through it so many times.
A quick snap when we landed at San Francisco Airport.
Going back, we flew via  US Airways.  The crew were very nice too and they served us beverages.  I thought that was  weird because flying with them is a lot expensive than Delta hehehe.
We had a connecting flight from San Francisco to  Charlotte, North Carolina.  Glad that my husband  bought a vegetable salad before we took off  because there is no snack with US Airways.  With our 5-hour flight, the kids would have starved  if we did not have  snack bars and the salad with us.
Our  flight from San Francisco to  Charlotte arrived  ten minutes late so we literally have to run because we only  have ten minutes to catch the plane to Pittsburgh.  I feel bad for my son because he was crying  due to  earache.  I hate when the connecting flight has a very short  period of time  allowance to catch your next flight but there's nothing we can do as we weren't the ones who  set up the  itineraries of our trip.   But given an option, I would choose Delta over  US Air.  It is cheaper and  snacks are free!

Watches - Nostalgia # 52

Photobucket
Do you see the lady bug in my wrist? I took that shot during Easter celebration last year.   was wearing my favorite watch among the three that  Mr. K has given me when I was still in Pinas.

I only wear a watch whenever we are going somewhere.   I know some people that cannot  go without a watch.  To them, it is a part of their daily get up.  How about you?
Thanks a lot for joining this week!  Please leave a comment after linking.

For Sale

When I was young, I used to think that the most beautiful kind of jewelry is made of gold. I don't anything about jewelry back then as I never owned one lol. I just see it to some of the people who goes for vacation in our place and wearing too much bling that are sparkles like gold. I don't even know f they were real or not. Anyhow as I grow up, I realized that there are more other beautiful type of jewelry in the market.

Did you ever think of selling gold jewelry? I am! In fact, I want to sell my gold bracelet below.  I don't use it and I ONLY use it ONCE when I graduated from master's.  So whoever  is interested in buying, just please email me okay?  I am not kidding folks, I am absolutely serious!

Nostalgia # 14 - First set of Jewelry

Hello folks, sorry for posting this late. I am super busy today. We registered my daughter in school in the morning, paid tuition fee (which caused a hole in my wallet lol), tour the school and we had a meet up with the parents of our daughter's classmates afterwards. Whew what a day! So pardon my late posting.

I actually just snagged this to one of my old posts in this blog. Most of you might have read or seen this already but I a posting it anyway lol.

These two were the first set of jewelry that my husband gave to me when we first met in person. When I got pregnant, I wasn't able to use the ring anymore because my finger got fat lol. Since then, she stayed in a jewelry box and so is the bracelet which I used once only - during my MBA graduation. anyone interested to buy it? It is still up for sale lol.

Jewelries for sale

Okay I am a bit late for this but better late than never right? We are busy preparing for our next big travel so each day we are doing some preparation.

My husband is never "kuripot" when it comes to giving gifts so when I met him, I started getting jewelries which I never had then. I actually don't approve it that he gives me gift every occasion because when he buys a gift, he wants high quality which means high price too. It doesn't matter how much it cost for it, as long as he like it, he will buy it (It's different now though, I am now in control lol). Which is my contrary because I am all about saving for the future. But anyhow, when I was still in the Philippines I have no control about his spending habit so I got all these.
He gave me this photo necklace for Mother's day in 2006. Our names and initials are engraved on it.

I received this one from a dear friend over in the Philippines. She was the owner of the photo studio that covered our wedding video and photos. She was one of our Ninangs (god mother) during our wedding.

My former boss, also our ninang to our wedding and John's godmother in baptismal and confirmation, gave me this one. Ninang Rose and I shared the same first names.
This one is suppose to be a healing bracelet that I bought here in Korea..

These are our wedding bands when we got married in civil. He planned to buy a set of ring every year but I said no. But he did bought another set for our church wedding (he is a spender ya know).

The one at the center is my college ring. That's the only jewelry I bought for myself when I was working already. The other two are my husband's.
John bought this one in eBay, he said that it protects you from harm.

The Ruby ring was given to me by my father in law. It belonged to my mother-In-law whose name is Ruby. The other one was made as a payment to me by a former friend who borrowed money from me but can't pay it so she gave me her ring.
The watches that John gave me. I love the gucci one but also like the seikos.
These are the first set of jewelry he first gave me when he first met me. I love the style of the ring but not very fond of the bracelet. Too big and flashy lol.. I only wore it once. So if anyone would want to buy it, just contact me (I am serious).

She gave me this as a wedding gift during our church wedding. The bracelet has different color, I haven't clean it lately. I used the bracelet often.

He also gave me this earrings as wedding gift. I wore this and the bracelet and necklace on my wedding day.

Oh I love hoops earrings! Dhemz gave me the guess one (thank you so much manang ko). Hubby gave me the little ones for my birthday last 2007. He gave me the big one for mother's day this year.

This is my favorite ring. A 2 karat diamond with a guard ring. The guard ring is separated from the main ring, I usually don't use the guard ring.
This one is also his first gift to me, a combination of white, rose, and yellow gold chain with a rose flower pendant.
So that is it... If you want to buy some of those, just contact me. I am seriously want to get rid of some coz I don't use them. I care for sentimental values but I want to be practical. what do you think?

It's been..
