Product of Creativity

Remember the Bliss Meltaway chocolate that was sent to me by a kind blogger, Jann?  She included it in the box when she shipped the prize I won from her giveaway.  Anyhow,  a couple of days ago, me and Ms. Burrito were doing her homework at our kitchen and I ate one of it.  I thought of making the wrapper into  a flower and it looked nice.  Ms. Burrito even asked me to put it in her ear lol.
Here's the product of our creativity.

Gemstones and Minerals

One of the most favorite things that Ms. Burrito did at the farm last pumpkin season was  finding rocks and minerals.  There was a stall at Janoski's Farm  where you can   sift through the sand and water and find these gemstones and minerals.  The fee is $5  for each small bag of sand.  It was a big hit for the kids.
The rocks they found at  the sand is not really worth  the amount you paid but the JOY that  the child feels when they are doing the  "Finding Treasure"  was well worth it.
Ms. Burrito's friend  screamed "I am  a millionaire" when she found the  false or fool's  gold lol.  I was glad that I let her do it because  now she has a little knowledge about certain rocks.  She even   brought her collection  in school for show and tell and the teacher complimented her for that.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Family Picture

They say that  Ms. Burrito looks like me but when you look at my husband's baby picture, the little Miss looks  just like her Dad.  A lot of people also say that  Mr. Burrito looks like his Dad but  he actually looks like my youngest brother  but with fair skin and hazel eyes.  What do you think?

Jigzaw Puzzle

We finished another 500-piece Jigzaw puzzle.  Al the three  puzzles that we finished are now framed and hanged o at our basement  wall.
Building  puzzles is so much fun.  Daughter and I love  crossword and Jigzaw puzzles.

Shopping for St. Patrick Celebration

We went to Fort Steuben Mall last weekend to find Ms. Burrito an outfit for St. Patrick's Day. She will be reading during the mass which she is very proud of because she got the long part of the reading. Her teacher talked to my husband yesterday and told him that she is very proud of our daughter for having the confidence and for doing great in school.  It warms our hearts to know that  our daughter is doing  good in school.
Before we went shopping, we let them play for a while.
Aside from the  clothes we bought for Ms. Burrito, I also found this pretty pink  house slippers.

Precious Moments with Dad on Hubby's Birthday

After we devour on the food that my kids and I prepared for hubby's birthday, we went and visited my FIL. We went for a walk at Marland Heights so our fur baby, Champ, will have some exercise outside.
Ms. Burrito is fascinated with this big ice cream cone display hehehe.
Champ had a ball  playing with Dad and Ms. Burrito.
Dad likes Champ, as you can see  the latter is sitting comfortably in his lap.
"How pleasant it is for a father to sit at his child's board.
It is like an aged man reclining under the shadow
of an oak which he has planted."
Dad is turning 90 years old in few moments and I am glad that  we have precious moments with him while he is still able to  enjoy our company.

Enjoying the Flight

Here's  my daughter just relaxing inside the plane enjoying our  smooth transit  from Korea to Japan.   We as parents worries when we travel especially if it's a long flight.  I am glad that I am blessed with two good travelers.  They  never cried nor complain during our 18 hours flight from South Korea to United States.

Star Wars Tour

One of the coolest attraction that we did in Hollywood Studio of Disney World is the Star Wars Expedition. Both the kids and adults had fun with this exciting experience where you were in outer space using the 3D effect.
We had  fast passes on this one so we did not battle with the long lines.
The Flight of Star Tours uses state-of-the-art technology—including a flight-motion simulator vehicle, digital 3D video, Audio Animatronics characters and in-cockpit special effects—to transport you to a "galaxy far, far away." There's nothing else like it on Earth . . . or any other planet!  The movement and the 3D glasses  gave me a massive headache but  it was fun!  Glad that the Dias family had   medicine with them and I  got to take some, thanks guys!

It's been..
