Shopping for St. Patrick Celebration

We went to Fort Steuben Mall last weekend to find Ms. Burrito an outfit for St. Patrick's Day. She will be reading during the mass which she is very proud of because she got the long part of the reading. Her teacher talked to my husband yesterday and told him that she is very proud of our daughter for having the confidence and for doing great in school.  It warms our hearts to know that  our daughter is doing  good in school.
Before we went shopping, we let them play for a while.
Aside from the  clothes we bought for Ms. Burrito, I also found this pretty pink  house slippers.

Beaver Valley Mall in Monaca PA

My husband and I had a little trip to a place we have never been last Tuesday. Our daughter wanted a green machine and it wasn't available to any store nearby here so we drove all the way to Monaca Pennsylvania just to buy it.
Beaver Valley Mall was on the way from Walmart where we bought the GM so we  dropped by and did a little shopping.
We did not have the kids with us so it was sort of a date for us weeee.
Beaver Valley Mall is  quite different from Robinson Mall, it was more organized,  not-so-crowded, and  we've seen  different kinds of deals that Robinson doesn't have.

Marvelous Mom Mug

Ms. Burrito's school had their Secret Santa Shop last week. We gave Ms. Burrito $10 to shop for Pap and her brother but she changed her mind and shopped for me and her brother instead.  She was so upset when  she learned that  she did not have money to shop.    Her  envelope got misplaced  in school because we sent it earlier than  the rest of her classmates.
But anyhow, the teacher found the envelope and gave it to her.  Thanks to the mommies who consoled  her when she was crying.  Thanks also to Amber who  comfort Rye and assured her that everything will be alright, it means a lot to us especially to Ms. Burrito.
She was very  proud of what she bought us.  She knows that I collect mugs so she got me one.
She also got Mr. Burrito a new monster truck.  I told her that I would put it under the tree and  open it on Christmas but she insisted for me to  to open it lol.  However, I wrapped it back and  put it UNDER the tree.
I wrapped it again anyway and put it under the tree.
Those simple gestures  from our  kids  can really make US, parents, very very happy!

JCP Shopping

JC Penny had their huge sale last Saturday. Most of their items were on sale for up to 80% off the original price.
The funny thing was, I saw a shoes that I like  on the paper ads but then when we went there, I saw a rack of pants and shorts that are originally 36 dollars each but were on sale for  under $8 so I grabbed five of them because I seldom see size 0 on sale.
This dress is originally 44 dollars but we got it for 13 something.  I bought it to send to my niece but then Ms. Burrito wants to keep it lol.
My little princess wants to grow up so fast.
I feel guilty that I spent a little over  the amount  of what I had planned to spend but hubby said, it's worth it.
We also bought some thermal shirts for  the boys.

Mother's Day Gifts from Ms. Burrito

The Kindergarten teacher helped her students to make a Mother's day gift for their Moms. Each student were given some flower seeds of their choice and let them grow. She brought this home last Thursday and gave it to me. She told me that she still have one present to bring.
Then yesterday she came home with another present that they made in Arts class.  It's a tile that they painted with  designs that they like.  Ms. Burrito knows that I love tulips so that's what she painted.
Thank you so much Anak, your thoughtfulness and love  just melts my heart!  Now Mr. Burrito wants to go to the mall because wants to buy a toy for me.  I asked him if it's for me or for him because I don't need any toy lol.  His reply was "Well, it 's for both of us since you are going to play with me."  Witty little thing.  So we are off to the mall today folks, I'll be visiting back tonight.  Thanks for dropping by and for leaving your thoughts.

Pre-Christmas Malling

After we roamed around the huge campus of Robert Morris University last Thursday, we headed to Robinson Mall to give the kids something else to do rather than being confined in our house for days.

We also  looked around for some  last minute  deals but we did not find any as our boy burrito was getting tired.  Oh, we did found two things, our daughter's gift to us.  She bought us something  out from the money that Pap gave her.
Ain't the eyes of the volcano perfect for Blue Monday?
Do you see the sweets at the background?  Our sweet tooth burrito wanted to  buy some candy from there but we did not as we have some Sarris chocolates at home.
EJ love this yellow car but every time he would  try to sit in the passenger seat, the boy in red would  tell him that it is his spot.
After they got tired of playing, we went to the food court and  eat some food.  I took shot of the blooming peace lily for Today's  Flower.
How was your Christmas celebration everyone.  We had a great one!

It's been..
