Chester, WV

Some of the photos taken when  we went to Chester.
I miss when my husband was  not working because we got to go  places most of the time.  Now that he is working again, we only have the weekend to stroll.
Next year will be a busy one as he will start  his master's program so he would be  doing his  school stuff when he's off from work. I hope and pray that the "Year of the Snake" will be an easy one for all of us.

Wreck it Ralph

Rlgozxak4q7f47m61xaz3z5cz7ra551v
Wreck-It Ralph PosterWe watched the movie "Wreck it Ralph" a few weeks back.  The kids  saw it's trailer on TV so they wanted to watch it in theater.  At the beginning of the movie, we were pretty bored but towards the middle, it got  funny.  I recommend this to watch for family with kids.

Wreck it Ralph is about  the a  video game villain who wants to be a hero and sets out to fulfill his dream, but his quest brings havoc to the whole arcade where he lives.

Happy Holidays everyone!

Veterans in Our Family

My husband's Dad is a WW2 Veteran, he is now 90 years old. He served in the Army and was all over Asia like Japan, Saipan, Philippines, and other places. His brother who served in the Army, the same time as he did was killed and buried in Germany. Their family never saw him again after he left and joined the service. We are so proud of them!
My  husband is also a veteran, a retired Navy.  He served for 20 years in the Navy where  he toured mostly Asian countries as well.  I wonder if my son  would be interested in joining  the service when he grow up?  I am curious.
The photo above was taken last year's 4th of July celebration when my  brother-in-law Dave (in the photo) was still alive.  Four months after the photo was taken, he died from cancer.
The kids got  my FIL this cute award to honor him for the services  that he had done and for being such a great  grandpa for them.

Lodge to Stay in when Traveling

Have you ever seen the selection of luxury chalets at Hip Chalets website?  Man oh man, they are heavenly, the rustic look of the lodge  below is  so relaxing.  Winter is a great opportunity for travelers who love to go on a ski trip with their family.  Skiing is one outdoor activity that I have never tried yet and I don't think I would dare  to try lol.  I get cold very easily and I don't think I could endure being outside for a long time during winter time.

Anyhow, back to the place  that you could stay in just in case you are traveling,  Chamonix ski chalets  would be a good choice.  Check  out for further details by visiting the link provided  or you can directly hit the  chalet Chamonix link.  Just take a look at the photo below, this could be one of the luxurious , lodge that you could choose for your nice getaway.  This reminds me of the log cabin that we  adore  whenever we are visiting my brother in law.  There are two beautiful log cabins on the way and they are gorgeous!

Giggles & Smiles, Robinson Mall, PA

We brought the kids to  the play area in Robinson Mall, Pittsburgh, PA last weekend.  Giggles & Smiles is  always crowded with kids.  Hubby stayed with the kids while I went a little shopping at Macy's.
