Ahoy Matey, Here Comes the Pirate

Another  fun part of the  splash mountain  that the kids stayed for a while is the  pirate ship.  This was on the other side of the kiddie pool.  This pirate ship in the middle of the kiddie pool reminds me of the  Sponge Bob  the movie for some reason.
I ordered  some hard copies of our  adventures in Maryland and the  result wasn't as clear as these photos.  I have no ide what the problem is because it showed clear when I upload it.   The printed photos looks like the pixel is so stretched, I was very disappointed.

Toccatina

My kids have just  finished  practicing  piano for today.  We make it a habit  to let them play even once a day  which they willingly oblige because that means that  they  can play extra time  with their iPods after doing their homework.   Our  traditional piano needs tuning so they have been using the  keyboard that "Santa" gave them for Christmas.
Having two  music instrument at home is fun, it's therapeutic for me when they practice.  Of you are looking for affordable  music instruments and accessories, here's  To place your order, call us toll-free at 800-449-9128.  Below is the little miss  practicing the song Toccatina.

Fun Day at Splash Mountain

The weather  is still   bitterly cold here at our neck of the woods so to warm my body up, I have been browsing the photos that we took when we were down there in Maryland last year.  Here's another fun day that we had at Splash Mountain in Jolly Rogers Amusement Park.
Glad that the kids  are big enough this time that they qualify to most of the  slides out there.
I am very proud of these two when we go some place because they do get along a so well.
They know how to behave in public and  certainly makes Daddy and Mommy proud.
I am always cold so it is okay for me to stay  where  our things are.  I am contented of watching my kids have fun and take photos of them.
The entrance to the Splash Mountain is expensive but  it's worth it as the kids had a blast the whole time we were there.
At first, they were just contented in   doing the rain forest slides but later that day, they went to explore the really high ones.
I was talked into doing one which I really regret  going because I almost throw up.
This one is not too bad, I went with the kids a couple of times and I had fun although it was so cold for me.
This is qwhere I went down and got sick.  My daughter said that I need to go since it is her birthday so I went but my gut was already feeling sick.
They told me that we won't spun around but it did which made my stomach ache..
When we travel, I always want to tell my family that we shouldn't go on amusement parks but that is impossible lol. I make a lot of excuses not to ride in anything because  heights and  speed is not my cup of tea.

Friendship and Dating On the Road: 5 Ways to Meet New Friends While Travelling

Being a tourist will allow you to meet some of the most interesting and engaging people. Hailing from all corners of the world these new friends offer insights on the countries and cultures they come from, while you share your time with them in a third country. In the process of building this friendship you acquire a life-long friend, and fortunately a tour guide for when you choose to make a visit to their home country.

As I have traveled over the years, many people have asked the questions: How do you meet people when you are travelling with your partner? And; how do you meet people when you are travelling alone? There are a number of answers to this question, and in fact there are dozens of ways I have met people while on the road. Below is a list of 5 of the most effective ways to meet people while travelling.

1.1) Coffee Shops – Everyone loves a great cup of coffee or tea to start their day. A number of the new friends I have made while on the road were ones I met in a coffee shop. Travelers converge to these establishments for many reasons, but chief among them is free wifi. Look for others who are there with their laptops and look dressed for a fun day exploring. This is especially good if you are travelling solo. Remember though, that free wifi is a security risk.

2.2) Hotel/Hostel Bars – After a long day exploring there is nothing like a great beer, or other cold drink at the hotel or hostel bar. If you are looking to meet friends while you are on the road travelling then heading to a hostel bar is a great place to start. At the end of the day the bar will be full of weary travelers anxious to meet other people and share their stories from the day’s adventure.

3.3) Guided Group Tours – Guided group tours can usually be arranged on the Internet or via the hotel concierge desk. Tour guides usually provide a fun and interactive day, and set the activities up so as to encourage people to get to know one another.

4.4) Online – If you are looking for a date, then you should head online to a travel dating site. There are sites designed for travelers who are already on the road and looking for a date, and those looking for a date to travel with.

5.5) Through Friends – Lastly one of the most interesting ways to meet local tour guides and friends is to ask your friends at home or on Facebook. Send out a message stating where you are planning on travelling and requesting introductions to local contacts. You’ll be amazed at how quickly you can jump start a friendship when you know someone in common.
