Mother's Day Gifts from Ms. Burrito

The Kindergarten teacher helped her students to make a Mother's day gift for their Moms. Each student were given some flower seeds of their choice and let them grow. She brought this home last Thursday and gave it to me. She told me that she still have one present to bring.

Then yesterday she came home with another present that they made in Arts class.  It's a tile that they painted with  designs that they like.  Ms. Burrito knows that I love tulips so that's what she painted.

Thank you so much Anak, your thoughtfulness and love  just melts my heart!  Now Mr. Burrito wants to go to the mall because wants to buy a toy for me.  I asked him if it's for me or for him because I don't need any toy lol.  His reply was "Well, it 's for both of us since you are going to play with me."  Witty little thing.  So we are off to the mall today folks, I'll be visiting back tonight.  Thanks for dropping by and for leaving your thoughts.

Generous Gifts from Different Santas

Christmas is much much fun for the kids especially when they are opening the gifts from Santa.  It's a tradition for the Cottrill's clan to  celebrate Christmas at their parent's home.  It's a way of getting in touch with each other.

Rylie love the notebook she received from Tita Chris and Gail.

When we came home, we let the kids open up the gifts from us and from friends.

Rylie got Zoobles and a purse from Mommy and Daddy.

Thanks to the  Kinder family for the adventure tent they gave to the kids.

EJ got stinky from Mommy and Daddy, he love it!

Uncle Dave  got EJ a nerf gun and  a car set while Rylie got a  barbie set from Aunt Michale.

Thanks to Jen and Jim for the  awesome play dough set.

Here's Rylie's new purse.   We would like to thank Dad for the cash gift that he gave to the kids, that will go to their college fund.

Thanks to Mommy Dhemz for the magnetic travel game set and for the pasalubong  that she sent from California.

"Santa" is so generous this year, our princes have her dream kitchen set.  She's been waking up early and  act like cooking breakfast for us.  She even brought the tray in our bed  this morning.

EJ got a pretty awesome race track from "Santa".  All of us enjoy racing on this one.

Santa's Secret Shop

The school had a  Santa's Secret Shop  event held last Tuesday.    This activity aimed to teach the kids how to shop for  non-expensive gifts.  We gave our daughter $20 to shop for  something that she can give for her brother and Pap.

The  item's prices ranges from 1 dollar to  11 dollars.

There is a Christmas tree at the end of the displayed items.  Each student has to  hang their names at the tree to indicate that they are done shopping.

The  male burrito made  sure to tell Ate what he wanted.  So atte grabbed the monster cars that he wanted hehehe.

Rylie at the  cashier station paying for her  stuff.  I took a picture of her and Danielle, her favorite classmate.

When we came home, EJ  begged us to open up his gift as he wants to play with his car lol.  We told him that he  is not  suppose to open it until Christmas but then  he know what it was so we  gave one to him.

Rylie also got something for her Tita Chris.

That was a nice experience for the kids.  Parents are welcome to go there to assist their kids, so we went and helped Rylie.

Nostalgia #10 - Gifts from the land of the Rising Sun

If Korea is the land of the Morning Calm, Japan is the land of the rising Sun, which one would you go? I'd say both, I have never been to Japan yet but I wish that someday I could. My entry for this week is the precious gifts that we received from a dear friend whose residing from the land of the Rising Sun, Japan.

Clang of Kizuna sent us these goodies last Christmas, thank you so much Clang. I displayed this Japanese piece of art in our kitchen (pardon for the crocked photo, it's way up by the ceiling so I couldn't get a good angle).

I love this cookie or dish container, there's two of them and it makes a nice display at my china cabinet too.

We also get a package all the way from japan yesterday. Arigato Clang for being such a thoughtful and loving friend. Although we just know each other on virtual scene but by heart, I feel your sincerity and kindness.

I love this letter box with a clock that she sent me for my birthday. The kids love the cookies too! Okay here's what I want to know, what is written on the rubber stamp Clang? Lol, I am curious!
