Christmas Day

Christmas day is when we usually open up gifts so "Santa" can discreetly deliver the gifts to the kids.  Ms. Burrito  got the green machine but I don't think she will be able to use it soon, it's quite big for her.  Mr. Burrito  on the other hand love the bike she got  from "Santa".  Now the Miss wants a bike wahhhh.
Thanks to the Dias family for sending us  presents all the way from Texas.  A sweet lady from Minnesota also sent the kids a beautiful gifts.  Ms. Burrito has been reading it Ate Kim
Champ  is very interested  with the Connect 4 game lol.
He wanted to play with Daddy and  Ms. Burrito so he  was observing how to play it lol.  Link your favorite color through Color Connection every Friday at Ms. Burrito's blog, just click the badge below to join.

Generous Gifts from Different Santas

Christmas is much much fun for the kids especially when they are opening the gifts from Santa.  It's a tradition for the Cottrill's clan to  celebrate Christmas at their parent's home.  It's a way of getting in touch with each other.
Rylie love the notebook she received from Tita Chris and Gail.
Thanks Tita Chris for the awesome tri-level matchbox garage and the set of  cars.
When we came home, we let the kids open up the gifts from us and from friends.
Rylie got Zoobles and a purse from Mommy and Daddy.
Thanks to the  Kinder family for the adventure tent they gave to the kids.
EJ got stinky from Mommy and Daddy, he love it!
Uncle Dave  got EJ a nerf gun and  a car set while Rylie got a  barbie set from Aunt Michale.
Thanks to Jen and Jim for the  awesome play dough set.
Here's Rylie's new purse.   We would like to thank Dad for the cash gift that he gave to the kids, that will go to their college fund.

Thanks to Mommy Dhemz for the magnetic travel game set and for the pasalubong  that she sent from California.
"Santa" is so generous this year, our princes have her dream kitchen set.  She's been waking up early and  act like cooking breakfast for us.  She even brought the tray in our bed  this morning.
EJ got a pretty awesome race track from "Santa".  All of us enjoy racing on this one.
I bet, your house is like ours where there are piles of boxes from the gifts.  I found these neat craft ideas from the parenting tip of the day from parents.com.

Don’t throw out all those big boxes left over from the holidays! Keep them for your baby and toddler to play with or have your kid make one of these adorable cardboard box crafts.  Cute Cardboard Box Crafts

Have a nice 3rd day of Christmas folks!

Ski Lift for Christmas Tree

Good morning everyone, welcome to the first day of the last month of the year 2010.  Goodness, time  flies so fast that here it is, it's almost the end of this year.
My SIL Chris gave the kids this Santa's Ski Slope that you can attach to a Christmas tree.  Since our tree  is rotating, we chose not to  put this  in there.  The kids  have so much fun playing with it though.
My husband assembled it and just set it at our hallway where kids can plug it in and watch santa and the gang ski.  Thanks a lot Tita Chris!
Below is a short video that I recorded.

Thanks for visiting dear friends, I am already asleep when you this post is up. I just scheduled this one to welcome the month of yuletide season. A big thanks for leaving your thoughts.

Last Christmas

Last Christmas I gave you my heart... LOL am singing!

The day before Christmas, we wen to the mall so that the kids can have a picture with Santa Claus. But the little burrito had a change of heart, he did not want to sit in Santa's lap lol. He'd rather stand beside this bear.
The princess burrito is all about Santa so she sat in his lap.
Champ was  still a little pup then, we only have him for  a week.  That's the  outfit that we gave him for Christmas.  Now, it doesn't fit anymore.
Shelby and  EJ hanging out while waiting for the food.
It's presents time!  EJ with  Kalee Rose.
Our little burrito wanted to baby sit racie but she didn't feel like sitting in his lap as well lol.
We stayed the whole month of December at my FIL's after we arrived from Korea.

Christmas Tree

Everyday, my daughter would ask me when are we going to put up our Christmas tree. I told her that we have to wait till the Thanksgiving is over. My husband is planning to buy us a real Pine tree to use as our Christmas tree. I like the idea because it does smell good inside the house. I just don't like the fact that you can only use it once and that it's prices are a little expensive too. If we have to buy a new christmas tree, I want it the artificial one so that we can use it again and again. For me, it's a practical thing to do, don't you think?
