Bookshelf Assembly

The photos below were taken yesterday.  We did not go to church because Ms. Burrito wasn't feeling good.  We assembled the book shelf that I bought from CSN.  I'd like to thank Sean for  replacing  my expired  code which I thought for sure won't  be renewed.
We can never do something at our home without the Burritos getting involve.  We let them help us yesterday in assembling the  book shelf.  They also helped me in transferring/arranging their books from their bedroom to the bookshelf.  Thanks mga anak!
The kit was very easy to assemble, we love to assemble stuff like these because the kids can help and have fun with us.  Thanks CSN for  delivering it  so fast and for free.  I paid zero for this one, thanks a bunch Sean!

So now, we have a formal corner place   in reading their books.  They are also in-charge in putting  the books back after they use it.  Thanks once again to CSN Store and to Sean for accommodating my requests! NOT a sponsored post.

I snagged the photo above at Ms. Burrito's teacher's page. This was taken during their Dr. Seuss day celebration. I feel bad for my daughter because for the past couple of weeks and until now she has been sick. You can see in her face that she isn't feeling really well. I hope that the medication will help her in kicking the Pneumonia out!

St. Joseph the Worker Day

Last Thursday was the Ms. Burrito's class first Saint Day. The saint of the kindergarten class is St. Joseph the Worker.  We attended the mass to support our little reader Ms. Burrito. Pictures of the mass is posted at Ms. Burrito's blog, please drop by if you have time, she'll be delighted if you do!
In the afternoon after the mass, I was one of the classroom moms assigned to the kindergarten's St. Day party.

One of the Moms provided the  snack (pretty decorated cake).  There were also treats and crafts given to the  students.
After they ate, they played the "four corner" game.
Then it's time to leave.  I asked one of the Moms to take  us a picture.  Thanks Darla!
Thank you for visiting and for leaving your thoughts.

Show & Tell

Oh boy, I am quite tired already and it is only 10 pm.. I  will retire to bed after this post, I won't be able to do  my tasks but my body is  begging me to lay down in bed already.

Orange is the color for Mommy Moments this week.  Here are few of the photos where there's orange.
First up are the  framed pictures of them when they were under a year old.

I snagged these photos at Ms. Burrito's teacher's page. I think these were take4n during their show and tell day where Ms. Burrito brought her netbook.
Do you see how small she is when all of her classmates are around?

PS.. Would you mind dropping by at Ms. Burrito's blog please.  She'l follow you back when you follow her blog.  Thank you!

Blog Launch - Nostalgia # 42

PhotobucketWhen we went to Korea two years ago, I was introduced to blogging with my  very good friend  who lives in New York.  We both worked  in Divine Word College of Legazpi before we came to the States.  At first I was very hesitant  to try blogging because I really  don't have that "writer" skills in me. But since she told me that I could earn through blogging, I gave it a try anyway and I am glad I did, now I managed  4 blogs and co-authored two with my husband's blog

Blogging become part of my daily activities at home and  it surely influence  Ms. Burrito.  She asked me if she could blog  from months ago and I just told her that she needs to concentrate in  learning how to read, write, and spell words first.  That is why she is  working hard on her reading skills, she still has to work on her spelling  skills but I think is getting there.

Thinking about her interest in blogging gave me an idea to   make her a blog.  The blog that I am using actually was the blog that  I originally created for my SIL but since the blog got dormant and my SIL is very busy, I bought the said blog a domain and turned it into Ms. Burrito's.  The domain  has started working since last night so I am now launching it for Ms. Burrito through Nostalgia so she'll be a big part of this meme too.  Please have time to drop by at Kids e-Connection, Ms. Burrito's official blog.  She has been checking out her followers and comments there too.  She'll be delighted to see you at her site.  A line or two will make her so happy especially if you follow her blog.  Thanks a lot guys.  Introducing the new Kid Blogger, Ms. Burrito.

It's been..
