Nostalgia # 34 - Magic Sing

Good morning Nostalgia Travelers, I apologise for this late posting. I had trouble making post last night till I got tired of waiting so I slept hahaha. Thanks goodness that when I checked today, it is working already.  I was worried last night that  blogger is still having trouble but  I think "HE" knows that I need to post this so "HE" fixed the problem hehehe.

Anyhow, my entry today is the Magic Sing Karaoke Mic that  my husband bought from his blogging income. This is the second remembrance he got for me  out of his blogging journey.  The first one is the digital camera that he got for my birthday  two years ago when we were still in Korea.  Thanks a lot hon.

After seeing how interested   our burritos were into singing during Bumble Bee's baptism party,  hubby decided to buy us  a unit.  It has two cordless microphone.  Unfortunately, one did not work so we had to send it back to the  seller.  They said that they will replace us another one.
Seeing my daughter sing reminds me of the time when I was studying my  graduate degree.  I only attend  classes in the evening so after our classes, my classmates and I would go out to a karaoke bar and  stretched or voice out hehehe.  The only time I could sing in a public place though is when I drink a little bit of wine or else I won't have a courage hahaha.
Thanks for joining in this week guys, your participation is greatly appreciated.

Generous Gifts from Different Santas

Christmas is much much fun for the kids especially when they are opening the gifts from Santa.  It's a tradition for the Cottrill's clan to  celebrate Christmas at their parent's home.  It's a way of getting in touch with each other.
Rylie love the notebook she received from Tita Chris and Gail.
Thanks Tita Chris for the awesome tri-level matchbox garage and the set of  cars.
When we came home, we let the kids open up the gifts from us and from friends.
Rylie got Zoobles and a purse from Mommy and Daddy.
Thanks to the  Kinder family for the adventure tent they gave to the kids.
EJ got stinky from Mommy and Daddy, he love it!
Uncle Dave  got EJ a nerf gun and  a car set while Rylie got a  barbie set from Aunt Michale.
Thanks to Jen and Jim for the  awesome play dough set.
Here's Rylie's new purse.   We would like to thank Dad for the cash gift that he gave to the kids, that will go to their college fund.

Thanks to Mommy Dhemz for the magnetic travel game set and for the pasalubong  that she sent from California.
"Santa" is so generous this year, our princes have her dream kitchen set.  She's been waking up early and  act like cooking breakfast for us.  She even brought the tray in our bed  this morning.
EJ got a pretty awesome race track from "Santa".  All of us enjoy racing on this one.
I bet, your house is like ours where there are piles of boxes from the gifts.  I found these neat craft ideas from the parenting tip of the day from parents.com.

Don’t throw out all those big boxes left over from the holidays! Keep them for your baby and toddler to play with or have your kid make one of these adorable cardboard box crafts.  Cute Cardboard Box Crafts

Have a nice 3rd day of Christmas folks!

Great Time for 2011

Our main goal this year is to enjoy life and have a great time everyday. Last year, we have some concerns on how we will managed financially when hubby retired from the service. Now we know that everything is fine, so let's just have a great time... hopefully.. wink!
Anyhow, we drove straight to Dad's home after church today so we could visit him.  On our way, we spotted his car driving downtown and probably going to store.  So when we arrived at his house, we took the opportunity to take some photos.
I am just showcasing my husband's  Christmas gifts to me and the new hair cut that I have.  Thanks Hon for helping me cut my hair.
One of  my gifts to hubs.  His goal this year is to get back to his regular exercise routine and he started it way before new year, so I am proud of you Mr. K.
A photo opp for our daughter is always easy.  She is always up to it.
Unlike Mr. Burrito who only love to  make  a face like this.
So when it's time to take a family photo, he  always resist.  I held him against his will hahaha.
Hope your new year was as good as ours.  We celebrated it at home with friends who celebrated their wedding anniversary.  Will post about it next time.  Thanks for visiting and for leaving some comments.
