Fun Birthday Celebration

Hello everyone, how was your weekend? Ours was pretty busy but so much fun. We celebrated Ms. Burrito's 6th birthday last Saturday, we decided to have it on the weekend so friends and family who goes to work on weekdays could come.
I am glad that our preparation went well.  Ms. Burrito said that  it's the best birthday ever!
We got to bond with  our cutie  Bumble Bee.
Gorgeous Gracie also came over with the family.
Opening gifts was one of the most awaited part of the celebrant.  Thanks to those who sent  her  generous gifts.  We will post it on her blog soon.
Bumble is very vocal now and she is very mobile.  She even bond with my FIL, thanks Dad for always  being with us.
Ms. Burrito received a face painting kit from the Fancher's so the party ended with  face painting fun.  Thanks to the talented neighbor of ours, Sarah.
With the  Howell's, thanks guys for coming over!
Gracie love her face painted too.
Too bad, Bumble Bee's mom has to go to work so they had to leave early.
The pretty kitty girl.  Thanks once again  everyone for the greetings, for the gifts, and for those who came and celebrated with us.

Happy Birthday Ms. Burrito - Nostalgia # 60

PhotobucketI think time uses parachute nowadays hahaha. My little princess, Ms. Burrito, is turning six years old tomorrow. The memory is still vivid in my mind when she was just trying to crawl and trying to say the very first word. Now she acts like a little lady in a kid's body.
The theme for her birthday this year is princess.  She's into pixies and princesses these days so we ordered her a cake with a princess design.  Advance happy birthday Anak.  Daddy, Mommy, EJ, Champ, and Wubzy loves you so much!

Love Thy Neighbor

These two ladies love kids that's why our Burritos love to hang out and play with them. They are sisters and live next door. They are very sweet and loving.
Thaks Sarah and Liz for being so nice to the kids all the time.

Lucky - Nostalgia # 59

PhotobucketI am so lucky to have met friends online. I am glad that a friend introduced me to this addictive hobby, called blogging. I have never knew blogging till I went to Korea, three years ago. My friend in New York (thanks a lot Malou!) told me to try it out.

The lucky bamboo was given to me by a friend thru blogging.  She was the very first blogger  that I met in person, I visited their  old abode when we came back here from Korea.  I invited them to our son's birthday party and she brought me this lucky bamboo.
The bamboo  is getting big so I transferred it into a bigger  container and filled the  jar with decorative marbles.
She sent me this lovely bag  on my birthday this year.  Lurve it bading, thank you so much for the nice gifts and postcard!

2011 Fourth of July Celebration

My brother in law who lives in Chester, WV invited us over to a pre-4th of July celebration over at their house.  The Burritos had so much fun  playing with the  noodle floaters before we dip ourselves in the pool.  It's so much fun to watch YOUNG  individuals  isn't it?  It makes you forget  the current worries and just enjoy the moment.
The party  doesn't start till 1 pm but we went there earlier so we could enjoy the  swimming pool without too much heat of the sun.  We  arrived at eleven o'clock in the morning and soaked ourselves immediately.
Mr. Burrito is a dare devil, he would do anything without fear.    He was jumping back and forth in the water and hubby was catching him.
Ms. Burrito on the other hand is so scared of water.  I was surprised that she later on  decided to  use one of the floaters and  swim along the side of the pool.  I was so proud of her when she rescued her brother, Mr. Burrito let go of the floater and tried to swim but he couldn't.  Ms. Burrito bravely  went and grabbed her brother.  We are so proud of you Anak.
We played pingpong, dart, and  pitched washer toss  afterwards.
After I played with the Burritos, my SIL Jill played  against me too.
Jack, my BIL Dave's dog had so much fun swimming in the pool too.
It was a  fun-bonding with the family!

It's been..
