EJ's 11th Birthday at Flight Trampoline Park in Bridgeville PA

Time ... time.. time.. How is time  flying so fast?  The first week of February is  over, oh my!  As much as I would love to post everything that we have done in the past months, I can't keep up!  Our turned 11 last month and  he couldn't be any happier when we  took him to the place that he has been wanting to visit ever since his sister went with her friends.
If you want a place where your children can release their  energy and have fun, take them to Flight Trampoline Park.  Get ready to bounce and burn a lot of calories because they have some  fun activities waiting for you.    They have a  new Ultimate Laser Race, Ninja Warrior Course and Kiddie Courts.  They have over 30 trampoline  connected to each other so everybody has a space.  I even want to jump in there and have fun but our daughter  said parent's are not allowed hahaha.  I think she's just embarrassed if we  jump in it lol.
They even offer FLIGHT FIT BOOTCAMP, now that would be so much fun for adults like me.  You can mix up your exercise routine with an intense trampoline workout like no other.  I don't know if it's proven true but it said that vertical motion workouts such as Flight Fit Boot Camps are more  efficient than horizontal motion workouts like jogging or running.
At Flight, you can jump, climb and have fun in over 13,000 square feet of connected  trampolines.  My daughter had a great time bouncing around.  I have never seen her so  free and  having fun without  worrying about   what other people think.  So glad that we took them to this place.
My first baby is almost a teen but she's so little.  Sometimes, she  is insecure about her size but I told her that little people are cute.  She's the smallest among her class  so I understand her  sentiment.  I was the same way  when I was growing up, I was so tiny but it never really bothered me.  I thought being little has its advantages.  But then again, my environment was different, the people around me were all Asian so I pretty much  blend in.
Another   feature that they love is the Dodgeball.  We have watched the movie Dodge Ball so  they have always wanted to try doing it.  The  Dodgeball at Flight is an  added element of fun.  Flying around the dodgeball arena makes it even more challenging and fun, for you and your opponent!

Overall, the trip was a blast, they both had fun and it was a great birthday celebration in the books.
Aside from seeing my children's happiness, I also love  the fact that I got to see  other part of PA that I haven't seen  specially  during winter.

Kalahari Resort: Sandusky Ohio Part 2

To continue my post about our adventures to Kalahari Resort, here is the second part.

While my husband rests for a while at our table, I decided to look around the resort and took some photos.  There was a safari grille  near our table but we  chose not to eat there because it isn't  a smart choice due to the prices of food there.
We didn't do our research thoroughly  so we didn't know if  we were allowed to bring snacks inside.  We left ours in the car.
As I explore the resort, I see families who has their own  food so the next time, I know what to do.
Kalahari really do have some  good features inside their indoor water  park that kids of all ages can enjoy.
It's amazing how   full the resort was.  I wish that West Virginia has a facility like this  so we don't have to drive all the way here to have some fun time.
Kalahari has hot tubs that leads to the outside.  My husband said that it is very hot so the kids would stay there whenever they are getting cold.

They were braved to go to the outside and they told me that it is not cold even though they are outside because the water is too hot.
Here's how it looked like outside.

Aside from slides and other fun things, Kalahari also has  wave pool.

There are also shopping area  inside the  water park.  This piece intrigued me.
I love the  eco-friendly hut for the tables.  The only thing that bothered me there  are thesmokers who  proped the  doors open so they can smoke outside.  The problem is, the freezing  temperature comes in and so the smoke.  I gave me migraine!  I think that Kalahari should provide a smoking area for  the smokers so they don't have to bother going out and affect the people inside.  Either that, smokers should just hold on to not smoking until they  go home.
Another thing we didn't know is that, Kalahari  provide the  towels to all guests.  We brought some towels so we used it  when we drying off to go home.
While Daddy is checking out, I got the chance to take  photos of the kids.
Shadow Shots
I really want to see their outdoor park during summer so hopefully we could go back there someday.
I am happy that the kids had a blast.  My son always say "It's my best birthday ever" every year so hopefully we could keep up.  Our ten hour-adventure was  fun.  Although 6 hours was spent on the road and only 4 hours was the actual fun, it was all worth it.  Nothing fulfilling that seeing your children enjoy and have fun.  Our daughter is already asking where are we speding her birthday.  Her birthday is on July so an outdoor adventure would be great.  Any suggestion?

Kalahari Resort: Sandusky Ohio Part 1

As winter sets in, the weather is getting so unbearable outside.  The kids  gets bored from just staying indoors so on our son's birthday, we decided to go to Kalahari Resort in Sandusky Ohio.  It is our  tradition on our children's birthday to take them somewhere where they can have fun and visit new places instead of having a birthday party.  We could not go on the day of his bbirthday since he have school that day so we decided to go on the weekend.
We woke up early on the 16th, ate breakfast and  got ready to go.  We also  made  up a tradition to take a family picture before we  leave when we  are traveling.
We left at 7:20.  I packed some  snacks on the road because  it  is a  3-hour drive from our  hoe to Kalahari and we love to munch on something when we are on the road.
My husband  love the new  GPS that I got him for  Christmas.  I told him that I will sell the old one because we no longer need it but he said, he will keep it on the other car.  I also got him that old one  for Christmas and for that reason, he doesn't want to get rid of it.  He is more sentimental than me.
Seven o'clock during winter is still dark.  With so much anticipation, the long drive did not  seem  long for the kids.
We arrived at the resort at 10.  We pre-booked our tickets prior to going there.  My husband was making a joke about their  discount because  to  buy the ticket on a regular price, it is $59 each.  Then they offer a military discount for $59 each so there's no discount really lol.  MY husband was like "I love their discounts for the veterans!"
The slides of the indoor park  is extended to the outdoors which is kind of neat.
Kalahari Resorts features an exciting mix of rides, slides and adventures.  The whole family will have an incredible time for sure. I would love to go back there during the summer time so we can explore the  Outdoor Adventure Park.  Other amenities includes Spa Kalahari,  Salon, and  dining options.
We chose to just go there for the day because we did not put the dogs in the kennel.
It's amazing how the ducks can survive the  freezing temperature.  They were even swimming in the freezing  water.
I love this man-made falls in the front.
I was giggling when I took this picture of my daughter because she was still wearing her boots.  She forgot to bring her flip flops.
The indoor water park was on  the ground floor.
My son was eyeing the game room  that is situated near the entrance to the pool.
Because of my knees injury, I chose not to swim.  Besides, I  could  have not go with them anyway because the locker that we rented was very small.  It didn't accommodate all our stuff.
The kids did not waste any time.  They dove in right away as soon as we  entered the  water park.
When they took off, I gave my husband the camera so he can take a picture.  When he came back, he told me an interesting story.
He said that, he was waiting at the bottom  when the kids  went on a slide so he can take a picture when they come out but when they finally came, his camera was off lol.  Figures!
He missed the exciting part but glad he took some photos  after wards.
While they were enjoying the swimming, I was busy catching up with my diary writing.  Been missing a couple of  days so it gave me time to catch up with it.  I used my Instagram entries to look back what we did on certain days but after a while, it's battery died, ugh.  I will have to  post  another one  for this adventure so tune in.

It's been..
