Sea World WAlkathon

The good thing about going to an amusement park like Sea World is the fitness  benefits that you get as you do a lot of  walking.  It's a great avenue to put the children's strength to test without them noticing it as they are excited to explore.
Sea World is huge but our three  angels never  complained the whole time we were doing walkathon the whole day.  They were on the go the whole time.  It is us, adults that kind of lie lowed as the day progresses.  We just don't have that  energy that the children have.
My kids misses  Akesha so much.  They wish that we live nearby so we can go places together as the two family both have the same interest when it comes to having fun outdoors.

You really have the bonding time for children and it's a must as a parent. The place looks great!

Do you really expect to be able to keep up with kids? They seem to have an unlimited amount of energy as long as they doing what they enjoy--and obviously they enjoy Sea World-and who can blame them. Besides, they get to fall asleep in the car on the ride home!!

I have yet to go to Sea World but I plan on taking my toddler to it when she's a bit older. This year is all about Disney World. Looks like you all had fun though!

Beautiful kids and I bet you've had a great time that no one noticed you've been walking all day.

We were at the Sea World in San Diego last year and compared to all the walking we do at Disney World in Orlando every year - Sea World was like a break for us :)

*Jealous* I've always wanted to go to Sea World. And it's funny how that works isn't it? As a kid, I never noticed how much energy it took to walk around the zoo like I do now. :)

Awe! How fun. Such lovely photos of you guys. Oh yes! Going to parks or amusement parks is a workout with all the walking you do. It is a fun way to workout without even knowing it. :)

I can understand why the kids would not notice the marathon walk. But I must agree us adults tire out twice as fast.

That is one thing I like about amusement parks too--I always get lots of exercise. Sea World is on my list of places to take the kids.

the kids were too preoccupied with everything they see they hardly noticed their tired feet! must be a good place to spend one lazy afternoon with family + friends!

Looks like you had a lot of fun! The roller coaster looks enormous, but I'm sure it's a great experience.

OH what an amazing experience to visit Sea World. I've always wanted to go there. I hoped I could have gone long before now, because I'm getting old and that means less energy for all the walking. lol.

I am glad you enjoyed your day at Sea World and that your kids did not mind the walking. Last time we went my youngest complained the entire time about walking and he was in a stroller! Hopefully your kids and their friend will live closer together soon.

I always wish after the fact that I'd worn a pedometer so I could see how many steps I took all day. I'm sure it REALLY adds up fast.

Welcome! I love Sea World but struggle at times with a few rights issues, but in the end, my kids are amazed to see how big the mammals of the sea are

Unknown said...

How much fun! I can't remember that last time I was at SeaWorld! Looks so great!

I would be thrilled to do a walkathon at a place as fun as SeaWorld! I wouldn't be able to keep up with my son for sure, but it would be fun to try!

Unknown said...

Yeah, SeaWorld is so big, you really do have to walk a lot. Need to wear the proper shoes.
