Carnival was in Town

Every year, the carnival comes in our town and stay  for about 4-5 days.  We went there  one  afternoon when my husband arrived  from work and  the kids had loads of fun with  their friends.  My son's  classmates  showed up there too so  that added to the excitement.

It cost a dollar for every ticket or you can get stamped in the hand for $10 and you get unlimited rides. We chose the  stamp as we know that they would want to try everything.  It cost $20  for the two and plus $ome because there are some   stuff there that are not covered with the tickets, you have to pay individually like the Terror of fun which I think was lame as you only stayed for about 5 minutes  and it's over, it's not worth the money you paid for lol.

There is nothing quite like a small carnival!! We have them sporadically-usually the fireman's carnival during the summer--having no children I generally do not go-but know people who attend every single year! They have a blast!

I used to love going to the carnival when I was a kid, but as an adult I finally understand why my mother was far less thrilled. Between the rides that are thrown together in a day, run by bearded men who mumble and the deep-fried food that costs as much as a meal for the entire family, it's not my first choice for entertaining the kids. Still, the couple times we have dared it, they have had a great time!

They look like they are having fun. I have never taken my kids to what we call the Fair, I am to afraid of who is putting the rids together and how they are maintained. I am too over protective.

How fun! Carnivals that come to my area are very expensive and not worth the money. I miss living in Germany they had festivals all the time with rides and games that were very affordable.

Same thing here too. We have it for at least a month and it's one of the huge event here in San Diego. I believe they'll open on June or July.

The carnival in our place always starts in August. We also chose the unlimited rides for a little more.
