Learning how to Sew

I used my FIL's sewing machine yesterday and the kids saw me doing it. Of course they wanted to learn how to use it so I showed them how to use the electric sewing machine. Dad gave us a pice of cloth and that was what we used to practice. The kids had fun.

Both of them got to try how to operate the sewing machine and they both are very proud to learn how.

I was surprised to learn that they both ran the sewing machine without problem. I remember when I was a kid, I am scared to try things that isn't familiar with me.

Here's a short video that I recorded while Rylie was having fun. It's funny because she put the finish product at her pap's center table lol.

I haven't used a sewing machine in ages. I wish I had one. I've wanted to try to make a quilt, but there's no way I could sew all that by hand! Thanks for sharing. :)

I love the sewing post. I am teaching my girls to sew. Its like the blind leading the blind. Its to the point where they need their own machine. Anyway, returning the blog love and following back.
Thanks!

Hello @chubskulit, na-miss ko tuloy yung Mom ko hehe! She taught me how to sew din kasi back when I was 3rd year highschool. I eventually learned to used her sewing machine but I stopped learning when she shifted to high-speed hehe!

This maybe off topic pero sabihin ko na rin. I would like to invite you to join my online contest if you like. I am also looking for sponsors of anything you could offer. Here are the details.

Very adventurous and mga anak mo at madali silang matuto. Matiyaga kasi katulad mo at excellent teacher ka sa kanila. Your FIL is very understanding to lend you an electric sewing machine. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
