Epcot's Spaceship Earth

We bought four-day passes for Disney World attraction. On our last day, we went to magic kingdom so the kids can ride their favorite rides then we proceeded to Epcot. I think of all the them park of Disney World this was my favorite although we did not have much time to explore it.  

According to the info I found, Epcot is twice the size of Magic Kingdom.  It showcase future world full of sensational attractions like the very first one we tried, the Spaceship Earth.  It is the them park's icon that look like a giant golf ball rising high above the horizon.

The line on this particular  attraction was very long but we managed to get in, patience is the key although the kids don't have much of it hahaha.

Flash photography wasn't allowed inside so the pics I took were dark.  You ride  into this space-like cubicle and it took you to different eras.  At the end of the tour, you are given a chance to build your own world and you design it the way you want your world to look like, it was pretty neat.

If only we have  much time, we could have enjoyed more but we left earlier as we have to  get up  at 2 in the morning to ctach our flight and we did not want the kids to be miserable of not having  enough rest.

We only did three attractions  at Epcot but it was so much fun and educational.  I'll post some more pics next time.

Spectacular Journey into the Movies

One of the neat things we explored in Hollywood Studio is the spectacular journey into the movies. We took a ride and the tour guide showed us some  beautiful  parts of different movies.

We should have   went to Disney Junior coz it's more for kids.  There are so many things we did not see in Disney due to time constraints.

Bonding with Critters at Tomlinson Run Park

There is a huge park in New Manchester, the Tomlinson Run, where Canadian geese are plenty. We visited there a couple of weeks ago (I still have to upload those photos). We found a lone duck, not sure if it's a mallard duck but he seem to like our kids because he kept following us wherever we went. Our burritos got tickled by that so they asked us to go back again. We went there last weekend and we brought Dad with us.

We brought some bread and the kids fed him which he enjoyed so much.Hey, the feet of the duck are orange so it's perfect for OT.

Two and a half men, nah not the TV show but the men in our family.  My FIL, Hubby , and son.

It's great when it;'s summer as it gives the kids  so much exercise.

Tomlinson Run is pretty big, there are different  recreation being offered which includes a huge lake where you can catch fish, water recreation area ( we haven't tried it yet), a mini golf course, play area for the kids, and camping and picnic grounds.

The place is like thirty minutes drive from our place but it's worth  the drive because there is so much to see and explore down there.

Blissful Years of Marriage - Nostalgia # 645

Here's some highlights of our blissful  years of marriage.  Hope you guys won't be bored as my entry for this week is  quite long.

September 2002: He saw my profile at matchmaker site.  He left me his email add, I wrote him, then he called me.  From then on, emails and phone calls were our everyday routine.

January 2003:  I finally accepted him as my  online BF weee.

March 2003:  He came and visited for the first time, our first  face to face  met up. 

August 2003:  He came back and we got married despite of my  father's untimely death.  It was  a very simple  rite but it sealed our relationship.  It was also the tough times of our marriage as I was still in the Philippines and  I badly wanted to  get preggy but  wasn't blessed with one.

  

October 2004:  We  decided to get married  again and this time was in church.  It was also the year I was blessed with our first  baby, though only he stayed for two weeks I got pregnant.  My papers were being processed then but it seemed like it was taking forever.  Separation   was hard, glad there's phone and internet that kept us connected.

May 2005:  My papers finally got approved and I was given  the opportunity to  be with my husband.  I was seven months old preggy  with Ms. Burrito when I flew to Guam (my port of entry) to meet my husband who  was stationed there at that time.

July 2005:  Came  a healthy baby girl, Ms. Burrito.  We also bought our Honda Accord  in September of this year.

February 2006:  We bought our home sweet home.  We  renovated it and moved in  in July 2006.

January 2007: Came another new bundle of joy, Mr Burrito.

February 2008:  We went overseas, the beautiful Land of the Morning Come, South Korea.

March and June 2009:  We went for a vacation in the Philippines.  Two months after the vacation we went back again for my  late brother's funeral.

December 2009:  We came back here in the mainland from Korea.

February 2010:  Hubby retired from the Navy and  went back to school.  He will be graduating  next year.

August 2010:  Ms. Burrito started  going to  Kindergarten.  Time flies, she will be in  the first grade  in few weeks.

July 2011:  We decided to have a vacation in Disney, that was  our pre-anniversary celebration.

Tomorrow will b our 8th wedding anniversary.

 

Dizzy Rides

Our daughter love fast rides and I am glad about that because I am the contrary. Ms. Burrito is like her Dad but Mr. Burrito is like me, I get dizzy so easily when riding a fast ride especially when it drops down or twist so fast.  I am not good with those kinds of ride but for the sake of the children and I don't want to be called a party pooper, I tried riding with them on this log ride (forgot what it was called).  

This is actually a tall and steep one.  It was neat on top as it shows the cartoon character of the movie Brer Rabbit which my kids love.

I really did not like the finale of this ride as it was so steep  and I felt like my heart sank and forgot to breath lol.

We all got wet on this one especially my husband and  Mr. Burrito because they sat on the first seat.  Me and Mommy Dhemz sat on the fourth one.  Imagine how hard we screamed hahaha.

And then after we got out from that wet adventure, we went to this one which looked like a train so we thought that it's just a slow ride that will take us somewhere.  Oh no, we were wrong because this one is a roller coaster actually wahhhhh!  Below is a photo where all of us were wet.  My son was walking around Disney  with water dripping 

It was too late when I learned that it's a roller coaster, if I could have known, I won't ride for sure lol.  Oh Disney, you made me so Dizzy lol!
