Pink is the Color

The color of my Mother's Day celebration this year is pink. My family took me to the mall the day before the celebration. The Burritos played in the kiddie section, then we ate, and then we went to Victoria's secret.
Victoria's Secret has a special mother's day  sale so they bought me a  set of my favorite Angel Scents there.  Thanks a lot sweethearts!  Ms. Burrito enjoyed seeing a lot of stuff at VS.
The card that  my Burritos gave me.  I wasn't allowed 6to go with them when they bought this hehehe.
I also received a surprise personalized  greeting card from a dear friend's daughter, Akesha, thanks a lot sweetie.
Then a card from hubby  with a message he wrote "Happy Mother's day with all my love and deepest  heartfelt thanks for such a wonderful family.  I am truly blessed!"
I am blessed as well, I have a loving husband and wonderful children.  I thank God for  them everyday!

Wood Exploration

This is a continuation of our  outdoor  fun last weekend.  My husband showed us the  woods where he and his friends used to explore when they were kids.  The woods  is adjacent to the park where we played.

I saw this congratulations on the way so I took picture of it, maybe this would mean something hehehe.
Adjacent to the woods is a big golf course too.
A shot taken by my husband.  Glad that our kids love adventures like this because hubby and I both  love  exploring the nature.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.  We are at home doing weekend cleaning, organizing, and some cooking.

Cultural Heritage Celebration

Hello everyone, we had a very busy day today. We went to the bank earlier and opened us an account then we proce3eded to the Cultural Heritage Celebration down at the Millsop Community Center.  We had fun watching the presentation of every group representing different countries such as India, Chinese, USA, Philippines and more.
A friend gave me and Ms. Burrito a set of Filipino costume to wear but we didn't use it because they were too big for us.  Here's Daddy spining the princess who 's trying to dance.
Photo opp with some Filipinas in costume and a Polish woman.

The burritos with other Filipino kids and Ms. Burrito  saw some of her classmates there too.
The Polish woman was very nice to give the burritos  some coloring books and crayons and let them sit in her table.
The kids had so much fun especially watching the different dances of  different  countries.  According to  hubby, the Filipino groups stole the show.  They did pandango sa ilaw, sayaw sa salakot (not sure of it), then the national dance of the Philippines, tninikling.  I will post the pictures  later on.
Have a great weekend!

It's been..
