Organizing, Cleaning, Filing...etc.

Here's what's keeping me busy for days now. That's the reason why I haven't bloghop as much as I used to. I only bloghop during night time when everyone here are all asleep.
I helped hubby assembled the computer desk that my BIL Rick  gave us. We put it at the basement since we  already have a big one upstairs which is the one that I am using.
I also transferred some of our files down there to free my  desk from too much  clutter.
Organized the kids toys and put it at one side of the basement.  Below is the shelf that I got for free from SIL hris during their  yard sale.  I was going to use to  stack up my pocketbook collection but used it as a shoe rack for kids instead.
So far, the kids are behaving good in not trashing  all the work that I did.
My desk.  I only  leave the folders  which we usually have bills monthly, most of the files went downstairs.
Our basement is  much organized now although we haven't had any furniture there yet but at least it is clean and pleasing to the eyes hehehe.
These are the  projects that my daughter  did in kindergarten.
Here's how the desk downstairs looked like.
I  put all the vases together on the other side of my desk.

Yard Sale

My Niece in law recently moved so she is trying to get rid of a lot of stuff that they need anymore. They had a yard sale over at my FIL's last weekend so we went there and hangout.
Most of the stuff are still in great condition and the stuff that  my SIL was selling was the products that she have when she still have  her  store.
I was amazed how   my NIL would just charge  25 cents to one dollar each item even if they are in great condition.
Rylie bought some stuff like the bag below.  My NIL gave me this napkin holder which   matches my planters for the orchids.  Thank you so much Jen.
Her favorite find is Cathy - a  caterpillar  hotdog pillow.
My SIL also gave a bookshelf or some kind of  display thingy  which I am planning to  sand and paint afterwards.  I think that the kids  shoes would  have a great place  to  store it.  I'll show it to you next time.

Little Miss Rose

Good evening everyone. Dang, I thought I would be able to finish gardening today but it rained so I stopped. My handa are tore up already huhuhu.  Anyhow, sharing for Pink Fridays is  the shot I took of my daughter and the rose I have in front of our house.  These roses will  be removed when the renovation of the porch starts.  I dunno how I am going to dig this thorny beauties but I don't want it to go to waste so I will definitely find a way to save them.
Alrighty, I gotta get some information about this training management software before I put the kids to bed.  Their friend, our neighbor's grandson (picture below)  is sleeping over to our house tonight.  This is   our first time to have  a "friend sleepover".  So far so good.  I did not have much time to cook an elaborate dinner  coz I am so tired so I just made them  hamburger helper.  After they ate, they played outside and got rained on so  they just got done taking shower.
Above is a picture I took of them playing at our backyard.  Josh is only 7 years old but he look huge hehehe.

Pink is the Color

The color of my Mother's Day celebration this year is pink. My family took me to the mall the day before the celebration. The Burritos played in the kiddie section, then we ate, and then we went to Victoria's secret.
Victoria's Secret has a special mother's day  sale so they bought me a  set of my favorite Angel Scents there.  Thanks a lot sweethearts!  Ms. Burrito enjoyed seeing a lot of stuff at VS.
The card that  my Burritos gave me.  I wasn't allowed 6to go with them when they bought this hehehe.
I also received a surprise personalized  greeting card from a dear friend's daughter, Akesha, thanks a lot sweetie.
Then a card from hubby  with a message he wrote "Happy Mother's day with all my love and deepest  heartfelt thanks for such a wonderful family.  I am truly blessed!"
I am blessed as well, I have a loving husband and wonderful children.  I thank God for  them everyday!

Reading Time for Sissy

The Burritos were delighted when they first learned that we would be baby sitting Bumble Bee for a day last Monday.  Bumble Bee keeps messing up the blinds by the window, she love the sound of it.
I realized one thing, Bumble Bee is so mobile now that  it would need my full attention to babysit her so I won't be able to do it regularly.  As much as I would like to, I just couldn't do it anymore.
Ms. Burrito call  BB "Sissy" and she read to her a lot of books last Monday.

My husband and I used to spell words that we don't want the kids to know but now that Ms. Burrito knows how to spell and read already, there's no way we could do the same lol.  Have a lovely week everyone.

It's been..
