Halloween 2017

Another episode of 3 o'clock wake up time today.  I have been waking up at exactly 3 am  for few nights now and I couldn't go back to sleep.  I guess, it's a good thing  since it give me time to  write my thoughts.
Christmas has passed and still trying to catch up with my posting.  Most of the times, I just want to sit down in front of my computer and write everything but that doesn't happen.  Ideally, I  have a plan to do that but my plan doesn't always work.  Mental block or writer's block is always my issue.  I am so distracted with so many things especially that my kids and husband are on Christmas break.  The only way I can do this is  waking up early and  writing one article or two before they wake up.    Family time is more important than anything else so spending time with them is my utmost priority.
Anyway, we spent our Halloween   at the school for the Falloween celebration and then our friend invited us over at their  home to spend the rest of the Halloween celebration.  Our children  went trick or treating with their kids with the Dads and I stayed with my friend at their home handing out candies to Trick or Treaters.

I could have had a great walk  if I went t with the kids but it was too cold for me so I  stayed with my friend and we had fun.
As my kids get older, their preferences constantly changes.  They no longer interested in store bought costume.  They want to make it for  themselves and if it doesn't work, they   improvise with  what's available.  That's a win for me because we all know how  expensive costumes are these days.

Halloween 2016

Although we still live in the same neighborhood, this is our first Halloween at the new house.  A friend invited us  over at their place for the Halloween.  We  decided to attend so  our children can  trick or treat with their friends.
I am not sure  why both of my kiddos did not want a new costume.  They chose to  dress up in the 50s.  While I am glad that we didn't have to buy  new costumes, I am part sad  because that means they are slowly getting away with the Halloween fun.
Anyway,  food was served before   the trick or treat time.
We went  trick or treating with the kiddos and it was a  great time catching up with other parents and  also had a great exercise with our walk and talk.
These two were the ones I have seen that's really creative.  It looks really uncomfortable but I applaud the creativity.
We will see if they will be interested next year, I hope so.  I enjoyed the time we spent with them for occasions like this.
These young  boys and girls are certainly growing up fast.  I still can't believe that my daughter is in 6th grade now.  Two more years and she will be in highschool.  Time flies!  I am  very grateful that I get to spend a lot of times with my kids growing up.  I haven't miss any milestone.  I am blessed to be a Mom, a stay-at-home-MoM!

Fun Halloween

Trick or Treat smell my feet, give me  lots of sweets to eat..

Here's the rest of the trick or treat adventure of our Teen Titan mutants hehehe.   These sisters were not smiling when they were handing out the candies so EJ asked "Why are they not happy?"  Hubby and I just looked at each other and laughed.
Thank you for the treat girls.
 Raven in Action.
It's funny because everybody knows Robin but not Raven lol..
How do you like this big inflatable spider?
The last house we went to.  The guy called me and said, just take these all, LOL.
EJ helped Pap in handing out treats when we got back.

Halloween 2009

Our Halloween this year went okay, Our little butterfly had a blast trick or treating. EJ did not want to wear any costume and he did not like walking either so he had to ride the stroller.
This lady butterfly wants to thank you for making her win the Smile Contest!
On the street going to our first stop.
She is determined to get a full bag of candy lol.
Here's Dad to get the stroller at the trunk of the car.
Here's our lazy butt son hehehe.
@ the commisary, we were the first one yipppeee..
Here are Korean kids...

We came to this house because their porch light was on but nobody came out hehehe. The rule was, if you are going to hand out treats, you have to turn your porch light on.
Most of the trick or treaters are Korean kids.

@ the Library..

@ the gymnasium

With Tita Mindy or Ms. Kim
@ one of my husband's co-worker, friend of the family.
I like this guys costume... and there goes the white lady.

Go get'em Rye!
Some residents gave their treats at the side of the street.

This house just leave their treats outside, you just have to get some when you come. I call this "grab 'n run"

We went to the gate to fetch my former student Amy.

Rylie was diligently working to get more candy.
treaters...
and more treaters..
I tried to just capture the light of these jack-o-lanterns but I failed.

This dog was dressed up for the occasion too.
I find him very cute, a little firefighter..

Amy gave Rylie a treat too. It's a battery powered dog. I also got a present. Kamsahamnida Amy!

Kimchee!
It's time for Mommy to have at least one photo hahaha.

We ate pizza at Duffy's after the trick or treat.. Rylie met a new friend, she's half Filipina too.

the view outside duffy's..
Now, it's time to make an inventory of what Ate Rylie got.
EJ was very interested with the doggie.

Hope you guys had a wonderful one too. We're down to 28 days before our flight, I am stressed out now. Have a good week ahead.

It's been..
