UPMC Passavant McCandless Campus

We visited my brother-in-law at the cancer facility hospital at UPMC Passavant McCandaless Campus in Pennsylvania last Saturday.  It took us  an hour to get there, gladly we have the GPS who  made it easier for us.  The GPS took us a different route avoiding the heavy traffic in  Pittsburgh.
The cancer facility was so huge and beautiful.
There are some  neat garden displays too just like the one below.
My father-in-law was relieved  to finally talked to Dave.  He did not want to go but then we used our convincing power for him to go with us hehehe.
My BIL was still in a lot of pain and  so many monitors were attached to his body when we came. Sseeing him move in pain reminds me of my two C-Section surgeries.
We've seen two of this  water display (not sure what it's called) at the hospital.  The kids love it and wanted to touch it.  It's very therapeutic to listen to it.
The garden/walkway in between the building has a very interesting landscape.
I am glad and thankful that the doctor got out the cancer from my BIL's body just  in time.
I love the Peace sign on top of the other building adjacent to the one we entered to.
Again, in behalf of the Cottrill family, thank you so much for your prayers.  Please continue to pray for his  speedy recovery and for all the people who are suffering. See the PEACE  above the the building?

You're welcome Rose. I will pray both for your BIL and FIL. By the stripes of Jesus both are healed. Amen. Your photos are all so fantastic. They capture your experiences in the hospital where your BIL was confined. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

Hospitals I find so stressful; it's nice when they're at least physically welcoming.

How wonderful you were able to get your father-in-law there. Men don't like hospitals, but I'm sure it did your brother-in-law good to see his father.
Praying for all the best of health and happiness for you and your family — K

The piece of art including the sound of running water seems like a good idea in the hospital. I'm glad you could all go to visit your BIL, I'm sure it cheered him up too.

Hi Rose,

Your pictures are awesome! I was seeing the fountain and thinking about the kids wanting to touch it. You can see it, hear it, and touch it ... pretty neat.

I'm happy to learn that all of you BIL cancer has been removed! That is very wonderful news. Good for you for talking your FIL into joining you. I can understand his reluctance in seeing his boy so sick though.

God bless your entire sweet family, Rose.

Hugs,

Kathy M.
