Panhandle Trail Walkathon

Jen's family invited us to join their family walkathon at Panhandle Trail. We have never been there and hubby does not actually know the place. I immediately said yes when hubby asked me because it's been a while since I last had my exercise lol.

The place was really beautiful, you have so many beautiful things to see as you walk on.

Only bikers, joggers, and people who are walking are allowed on this trail so it is pretty safe even for the kids.

Rylie walked as far as she could but EJ rode the stroller all the way lol. There is a place where you can swing, they put this rope on the branch of a tree. Jen's husband Jim, tried it. It's a little thrilling because if you let go, you'll end up in the water lol.

There we reached the two miles mark then we head back so we had 4 miles walk. We've seen one bike on the road so we inspect the river to see if somebody got hurt but we didn't see anyone instead we saw another bike at the bottom of the river. I think, somebody threw their old bike there and decided to just go home walking, I don't know..

Rylie got exhausted going back so he asked Dad to carry her. I think, she walked like three miles. I will definitely walk again out there as I feasted my eyes on beautiful butterflies, flowers, ducks, fishes, and birds. I'll share the critters on a separate post.

Here is a parenting tip from parents.com

Parenting Tip of the Day.

The kids might be driving you bananas, but don’t lose your cool! Breathe first; adjust your voice to a soft, I-mean-business tone (practice if you need to). Use it to state clear rules and follow through on consequences. And remember: A strong bond makes discipline easier. Establish a firm foundation of love. Your child will be less likely to act up.

Panhandle trail is really beautiful. You can walk and exercise and be mesmerized by the beauty of nature along the way. Bilib naman ako sa iyo. Maski sa pang walking shorts ay sexy pa rin ang dating mo, lol. Mabuti naman at nakapag exercise kayong lahat. That will make your body strong and resistant to diseases. Thanks for the feel good post. God bless you all always.
