Bulusan Lake & New Year's List

This photo was taken in Bulusa Lake in Sorsogon Philippines. We had our Recollection Trip as part of our Theology 6 subject requirement for graduation... to reflect and enjoy the nature. I was 27 years old in this photo and just graduating in college. I didn't start college until I was 24 years old.

The theme for this week's MommY Moments is New Year's List so here it goes:

  1. EJ will turn three years old on the 15th of this month, am still struggling on his potty training and eating habits. He refuses to use the toilet and doesn't want to eat veggies and meat grrrr.
  2. Rylie will start school by August, we also planned to enroll her in a dancing lesson. We just can't do things yet this month because we are so busy. She'll turn five by July.
  3. John will go back to school (full time) to pursue his bachelor's degree. He is enrolled in a Nuclear Medicine course, hopefully he could knock this course out in no time. He will be officially out of the Navy on the first week of March. YOU are all invited to his retirment party hehehe.
  4. My goal for this year is to spend more time with hubby and kids that is why I seldom visit you guys nowadays, pardon me. I only blog on midnights like tonightl when they are all sleeping.
  5. We will continue with our remodeling project at the basement, next month will be a upgrade project by the contractor we hired for our bath tub (only). We also plan to have our backyard fenced this summer because of Champ, SANA our budget will permit.
  6. Hopefully we could have a family vacation this year.
Have a nice day everyone. Can't visit you yet, still busy unpacking.

That's awesome that you finished college! I think it's harder when you're older because of so many distractions. Good for you!!

And don't worry about the potty training. He'll go when he's ready. It'll happen before you know it. :)

Well mother, as a mother myself, you have to exercise patience with EJ in his potty training. Make it fun for him. Invent funny story for him to like the using the toilet.

As to eating vegies and meat, don't force. You personally feed him and even if you serve him kanin with sabaw (vegie with meat) and demonstrate to him by feeding yourself and say, YUMMY! He probably will emulate you.

I am very good in making uto to my girls when they were young. With God's mercy, they never experienced a hospital visit when they were little (under my care).

Until now, they still yearn for my cooking and both are cooking the recipe they loved. My youngest who isnow married even feed her husband with chicken adobo and he loves it!

You have so much going on there. All the best for 2010. And thanks for the visit. :)

Hugs to your kiddos.

You are a busy gal, but don't stress over the potty training - I've never met a teen that won't use the bathroom! ha ha He'll be ready in no time. Have a great weekend ~ ♥

Pray always so that you will be properly guided by the Lord in all you do and you may avoid costly mistakes. Kapag si Lord ang nasa sentro nang ating buhay ay matiwasay tayong lalakad na may kapayapaan at galak sa buhay. Salamat sa pagsi share mo nang plans nyo sa aming readers mo. We will pray for the success of all your plans. Thanks for the homey post. God bless you all always.

Sobrang hectic ang sched ng Cottrill family, atleast pangpamilya lahat. Goodluck sa remodelling bakla at potty training. Now I am thinking twice of potty training Jake, kasi kung si EJ ayaw nga si jake pa kaya.

So, bading anong kinakain ni EJ if he refuses toeat vegies and meat? Si jake he just started eating meat paglabas ng mga ngipin nya, at he ate carrots and green peas only. Minsan ayaw kumain ng rice nga.
