First 365 days of Being Married

I think the first365 days of us being married was the longest period I've ever experienced. Why? Because he was still in Guam that time and I was in the Philippines. Three days after our civil wedding, he left back to Guam again. Although we are chatting and talking on the phone everyday, it still wasn't enough to fulfill the emptiness inside. You miss the other two set of feet that warm up your feet, the hugs/embrace, the kiss.....

Some predicted that our marriage won't last because of the separation but I think that was the main ingredient that draws us closer to each other even better. It makes our relationship and love for each more stronger each day.

After our civil wedding, he only came to visit me once because of the military restrictions on leave of absence but every minute was a mine of gold for us. The next time he visited was during our church wedding which only lasted for 2 weeks, then the day after our wedding he flew back to Guam again. I am sure that most of you guys have a blissful year after wedding, for us, it was really tough but we managed to pull it through.

I guess if you really love each other, you will really survive no matter how hard the situation is for both of you. Now we are still so much in love and wants to stay that way for life.

Alam mo Mommy Rose, kahit nasa pagitan namin si Wrozlie lagi kapag natutulog kami, yung mga paa namin ni Rodney, magkadikit. Hehehe...Kaya kapag wala siya, di ako makatulog, pwera lagn kapag nasa Pinas ako, kasi dun, lagi talaga ako nakakatulog kahit di ko nakikita asawa ko, kasi la choice.

Being away from each other is so hard, why do you think we move constantly? Once nag move ng work ang hubby ko, di pwedeng di kami kasama, kahit 2.5 hours away lang na i drive, kasi nahihirapan siya. kugn ako lang, oks lang ako eh. sa dami ng mga anak kong kasama, wala na akong time na ma miss siya ...nope..babawiin ko, the more na namimiss ko siya kapg pinagagalitan ko na mga anak k..hehehe, sasabihin ko sa sarili ko " grrr...where are you honey, when I need you??"

Your LOVE for each other is so strong that though you're far away from each other, it worked still. yun lang po ang aking comment dyan. di ba? walang ibang reason na kau eh tagumpay sa inyogn married life..

I think blessing in disguise yung nasa pinas ka while in guam bakla kasi you have more time to spend time with your family while knowing each other not as bf/gf but as wifey and hubby. You two really take time, not in haste like my husband, tingnan mo tuloy kami palaging nag aaway waaaa.
Nakaka inggit relationship ninyo bakla kasi you both still sweet and so much in love.

Like I always said your love is made in heaven, plus you both nice and sweet person. thanks for sharing bakla.

nakuu Momi, kami din after three weeks of wedded bliss bye bye na. siyempre Crayola ako sa NAIA hihi.

like you, the distance made us stronger. actually that was one of the reasons why i started to blog. to ease my lonesome soul.

but when two people are meant to be together, the universe will conspire to make them stay together :)

my entry is here http://kcelebration.blogspot.com/2009/11/couples-corner-first-365-days.html

Its good to hear rose that you and your husband share the same passion for blogging. when two people share something that they love it tends to bring out the best in each other. And your love story and marriage only shows that no matter the distance love will always bring each other together.

I know how hard it is rose. I myself experienced that situation even it was only for a short time. one month after our wedding he went back to Australia and I was in the Phils processing my papers and waited for the approval. I was very thankful that the approval of my application didnt take long because I was pregnant already and sick.

Thank you so much sa very exciting telenobela, lol. God bless you all always.

aww.. mommy rose.. it must be really really hard.. kase dba? kaya nga kayo nagpakasal, to be happy together as in 24/7? It must be so difficult during those parting times.. and maybe it's God's way to make you both long for each other more para pag nagkita ulit kayo.. you'll do everything to stay closer.. and for you both to cherish every minute of being together.. and you're doing it now.. miss you po!!!

Atleast napatunayan nyo that distance wont be a hindrance for two people who are really in love although ang hirap ng malayo sa lalo na asawa mo na.But really love your story Rose,sa amin naman sort of serious type ang unang pagsasama namin but then sa umpisa lang yon hehe see you next entry na lang hehe.Mwah!
