Busy Beaver

This was taken the other day.

I want to share this to you guys. When we went to Daegu two weeks ago, my daughter wanted a book of stickers but its a bit pricey to me plus it will just go to waste. So I made a bargain and explained to her that if we buy the stickers all it will cause is more walls for me to clean up. Itold her that I'd rather buy her mathematics books so she will learn from it. She thought about it and thank God, she agreed lol.

See, even her brother can share with the learning process.

The theme for Mommy Moments this week is "Chore Time". I was the eldest daughter in my family so my mother pretty much taught me household chores at an early age like cooking (i hate cooking then), doing laundry, cleaning the house, feeding the animals, and washing dishes.

Teaching our children some household chores at an early age is advantageous than waiting for a later time when they don't want to do it no more. When you involve your kids in doing things around the house, they would show interest right away. But you have to do it in a fun way so they would be more encouraged. My kids love to wash dishes (anything to do with water)
The love to help me cook too. At four, Rylie can make her own scrambled and boiled egg.
See how serious they are?

My daughter can also fold clothes very well now. Of course EJ has to help too (make mess lol). See inaamoy pa ni EJ eh.

Gardening and watering the plants is one of their most favorite chore.
Happy thanksgiving everyone! We did not have any fancy celebration here since we are so busy cleaning and packing, we just bought BBQ chicken for dinner.

ang sipag ng mga anak mo, ako as much as i want them to help me in the kitchen, I don't even dare to let them near the stove, baka mapaso, same with washing the dishes, Patrick wants to do it,he's 8 yrs old, but I'm still scared na may mabasag sya which is i don't mind, baka lang masugatan pa.

Napakaganda talaga nang mga photos ninyo. They tell their own stories. Alam ko na he is also a good husband to you and a good father to your children. Let us just pray together na it will always stay this way maski lumaki na ang mga anak ninyo. Alam mo, pwede kayong gumawa ng book ni John using your blog posts with the abundant photos you have. I'm sure maraming matutuwa sa mga ikukwento ninyo. Thanks for your homey and feel good post. God bless you all always.

Kasisipag naman ng mga kiddos mo hehehe! most of the time kasi, ako na lang ang gagawa eh pano ba naman, mag tiklupin mo ng mga damit, di ka pa tapos, kinakalat na uli ni Alexandra, wahhhh! But you're right about teach them while they are still young and interested. Ganyan si Dan noong 3 years old, naghuhugas ng pinggan at gustong maging janitor paglaki, para daw makapag linis siya, then he turned 12, wala ng gustong gawin, ga ngayon, ang tamadddddd!! Hehehehe..
