Welcoming 2010

Even if we moved in to our home on the 31st last year, we spent our new year at Dad's home. We originally invited Dad to spend it with us but we found out that My SIL and her daughter will go to Dad so we just went there and celebrated the new year with the family. It was a simple get together yet a happy one.

Before we left home, we took us a family picture for last year. When we arrived, Chris, my SIL had some veggies plate and cheese plate ready.

Here's EJ having so much fun bonding with Tita Chris.

EJ love the music that Ate Rylie is playing.

Chris opened up a red wine and gave me a glass . I am not use to drinking anymore that even a sip of wine will make me red and tipsy hehehe. Dad and I having fun

I hate this big pimple I had in my chin. I squeeze it as part of my new year's celebration though hahaha.

My not-so-in-the-mood to smile Rylie heheh.

Hubby and I at the kitchen while talking to Dad.

Grandpa and granddaughter b0nding.

Having fun while waiting for the pork and other foods to get done cooking. Thank you so much Chris for the sumptuous foods you've prepared.

I am glad that we finally got back home. We got to spend some quality time with the family especially with Dad. The four weeks we have stayed at his house gave us ample time to make up of the time we lost when we were overseas.

Playing solitaire while cracking some pistachios.

Waiting for the ball to drop.

We took a group picture after the ball dropped. The kids were already asleep. From right to left: Jim and Jen, Gail and Chris with Champ and Butch, Me and hubby, and Dad.

Celebrating occasions like this is extra special if the family is around. How about you guys, how did you celebrate the new year's eve?

I am still unpacking our household goods so I won't be able to bloghop but thanks for dropping by and for leaving your trail folks!

Very romantic naman ang mga kuha nyo ni John. Baka masundan agad si EJ, lol. Naging meaningful nga ang naging New Year celebration nyo sa iyong father in law's house. Lahat ay masaya. Mukhang nahihilig na nga sa musical instrument si Rylie. Very closely knit nga ang pamilya ni John. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

The new year brought in great bonding for all of you. It's such a wonderful thing. There's a lot of intelligence behind Rylie's eye expression. I like it, sis. At si EJ parang nakiliti sa Tita Chris. Awww... Champ made it til midnite huh :)
