The Slide that Made Me Sick to My Stomach

Here's the full shot of the   slide where I agreed to go with my daughter.  Going up the steps , I was also  hyperventilating because it was high but since they assured me that the  float where we  ride in don't spin around, it  calmed me down a little bit.  As it turned out, it's the opposite.  As we  reached the  half part of it, the  float  spanned and I wasn't facing where we going anymore.  It really made me felt sick to my stomach.
These type of things are really not for me.  Next time, I will never go hahaha.  Glad I was able to control myself and did not  throw uo in front of so many people but I was close.
So yeah, as colorful as it is and as  fun as it looks, I'll pass.
Between our two kids, our son is never afraid of water but he is like me, he can't tolerate speed and height either.
He is  fearless though when it comes to  exploring underwater.
Our daughter on the other had is the opposite.  She is so cautious when going on the water but she is never scared of fast rides.  She is like an adrenaline junkie.
We had so much fun during our   vacation in Ocean City Maryland.  Jolly Roger Amusement Park made  a lot of money from us lol.
We are trying to figure out what we can do  this year.  We  thought of going for a cruise but the price is just way over our budget.  With four of us, it would cost us  about 5k to go which is not feasible.  I'd rather spend that to their education than  spend it in a week's leisure.  What can you suggest for an affordable travel?

Looking at these pics makes me imagine of the good days that are right around the corner. Just like you, I would have felt the same. Begging off will ensue for sure :-)

Indeed you are right, by just watching the pictures you've taken, i don't know if i'll dare to slide those waterslides

I can't do that kind of slide too, sis,my daughter is a scary cat as of now that's one of the reason we don't go in the park yet.

Those slides sure look very enticing! I bet the kids have fun because the photos say so! I will be scared as hell to go through those slides too. I don't know how to swim and I don't like the feeling of plunging to something I am not sure how deep.

Normally, I love slides, but perhaps this one would be too much turning and twisting, especially since I just muddled though an MRI.

I can see how that would have made you sick! I couldn't have done it. First, I'm scared of heights. Second, the closed parts would have freaked me out! Third, well, it just looks scary, lol! So points to you for being brave enough to get on it in the first place!!

I'm with you on those types of rides that make you and me sick to our stomachs!! JUST SAY NO and go sit in the shade somewhere while they are having the time of their lives. Well--maybe your son can stay with you or you can sit poolside while he enjoys.

We love to go to waterparks during the summer...and the winter, too. Thankfully we live within a three hours drive of the Wisconsin Dells, The Waterpark Capital of the World!

This looks like so much fun. It's summer here in PH right now and I'd go for any heat-buster there is. Your little angels seemed like they enjoyed a lot.

Wow they have all the challenging and exciting slides here. Kids and kid at heart would surely love this place.

I'd love to take a cruise too. A Disney cruise to be exact!! But like you said it's just too costly to justify the expense. Love your pictures here, I'm so ready for some warm weather!

It looks like you had a great time. My kids love water park and would have enjoyed that huge slide

This is GREAT PR! said...

Uhm, yeah... I'd probably pass on that big slide, too. But yeah, I'm ALL for the cruise just not with the kiddos.

Oh how beautiful that slide construction is but my body can't take fast things anymore. My son would be all about that water!
