Fun Day at Splash Mountain

The weather  is still   bitterly cold here at our neck of the woods so to warm my body up, I have been browsing the photos that we took when we were down there in Maryland last year.  Here's another fun day that we had at Splash Mountain in Jolly Rogers Amusement Park.
Glad that the kids  are big enough this time that they qualify to most of the  slides out there.
I am very proud of these two when we go some place because they do get along a so well.
They know how to behave in public and  certainly makes Daddy and Mommy proud.
I am always cold so it is okay for me to stay  where  our things are.  I am contented of watching my kids have fun and take photos of them.
The entrance to the Splash Mountain is expensive but  it's worth it as the kids had a blast the whole time we were there.
At first, they were just contented in   doing the rain forest slides but later that day, they went to explore the really high ones.
I was talked into doing one which I really regret  going because I almost throw up.
This one is not too bad, I went with the kids a couple of times and I had fun although it was so cold for me.
This is qwhere I went down and got sick.  My daughter said that I need to go since it is her birthday so I went but my gut was already feeling sick.
They told me that we won't spun around but it did which made my stomach ache..
When we travel, I always want to tell my family that we shouldn't go on amusement parks but that is impossible lol. I make a lot of excuses not to ride in anything because  heights and  speed is not my cup of tea.

Sounds like a great day at the waterpark with your family! It is great to have so many fun and fond memories for you all to look back on! And what a good mommy to still go on the rides that you don't necessarily enjoy!

Oh my gosh, the kids would go nuts over this place and so would I. We don't have anything fun around here. Darn it. I will be so glad when it's warm enough to get out and venture a little further from home and who knows what we might find but I do know we won't find things in Georgia to compare to Maryland (been there once and had the most fun ever).

I've never heard of this place but it looks like your family had a lot of fun! That looks like a giant jungle gym for kids to plan on.. I wish I had something like that when I was a kid!

I don't mean to rub it in at all but I am SO glad we moved from Canada to California, where I don't have to worry about shovelling snow any more - or inclement weather. I just got off the phone with my Father who was saying they had 2 snow storms in a row this week. Ugh, definitely not my cuppa tea. I think I was born to live down here in Sunny California lol.

my kiddos would have a total blast here! It is SO cold here in Northern Iowa, and seeing this post makes me want spring and summer even more! ( or some 20 degree weather would be nice too!)

I love water parks!! My kids are finally old enough to be able enjoy water parks and the slides!! I hated going places like this when the kids were younger!! Looks like you had a great day at the waterpark!!

This sounds like it was such a fun day. I am so looking forward to summer so I can go to the waterparks with my boys. It is so cold now, I am dying for the days when I can complain about trying to cool off because it is too hot.

I haven't been to a water park in years, where about in Maryland is this? warmer weather sounds so good right now as another crappy winter storm is moving in! I can't wait to go to this water park in NC when I move back home, omg I can't wait! The kids have never been to one before, they would have a blast.

Beautiful photos of your kids! I am so ready for the weather to be hot enough to go to the water park! We had a long winter and still experience the chilly climate (until today in fact!).

Whenever it comes to fun, i don't think kids do care whether if its too cold or warm for them, as long as they will have and they have fun

Woohoo!!! This is the best route to take... yes, imagine the warmer temps. It warmed up a bit today here in the Big Apple. I hope it continues. I can't wait for the sizzling summer heat. Your kids sure did have a lot of fun :-)

Awesome place for family bonding! This reminds me of a hotel in Cebu that we've visited a few years ago.
