Books Adventure

The topic at Mommy Moment for this week is Books. I used to read a lot to my kids when they were babies and when blogging isn't in my vocabulary yet lol. But now, I seldom do and I am guilty of not doing so. That's why I was surprised to discover that when I started teaching Rye how to read, she immediately learned how to. Anyhow, here's the latest book that we are using for our lesson.

This is the most favorite book that EJ love to read. He loves airplane so this one really caught his attention. Her Ninang (Tita Agnes) gave this to them when we were leaving going to Korea. We used to read books in Korea too because we oftentimes visit the library.

We goes to the library here once in a while and read some books. Our daughter is very interested in reading while the other burrito just want to play all the time hehehe.

Here's another parenting tip from parents.com (photo and text were copied from the newsletter I received in email)

Parenting Tip of the Day:

Help Your Child Love Reading at Every Age

Long before your child can read, or even talk, sharing a book can help her develop a number of important abilities. Reading books together will develop language and help her associate pictures in the books with words for real objects. As your child reaches the toddler stage, don’t be surprised if she wants the same book over and over again. It might make you a little nuts, but it’s helping her master words.

We as parents should foster in our kids the love for books and reading. They learn a lot from good books that they can also share with others.

Meron akong caption sa last photo nyo sa post mong ito. "The family that reads together learns together." Books are great tools of education where we learn all things in life. It is our mental bridge to any place or knowledge on earth. Even with the advent of the internet, books still have a special place in the hearts and minds of all people. Thanks for the homey post. God bless you all always.

I see a future pilot here.. I really hope so para naman libre kayo ticket palagi. Internet is the culprit kaya di natin masyado nababasahan ng mga books. Buti na lang fast learners sila.. iba na talaga mga kids ngayon, super smarty
