Vacation Bible Study - First Day

My daughter attended her first Vacation Bible School/Study last year when we were still in Korea. So this year, we decided to let her attend again in the nearby catholic school here in our area. The event was dubbed as "High Seas Expedition" which my husband love because he was then a sailor hehehe.
The four-day event has three hours of activities each day which includes Bible reading, crafts, and games.

It was held at the Gym of St. Joe's.

Parents are invited to come early during the last 30 minutes each day so they could participate to the closing activity which is a mini concert where Christian songs are being sung by the official singer of St. Paul's Church.

Rylie was a little shy during the fist day and she did not interact more with other kids but during the last three days, she did very well associating with the other participants.

We were so glad that we know someone (Sarah is our very kind neighbor) Rlie clung to her the first day.

She enjoyed having paint/art in some part of the body which highlighted each day she's there. Thank you so much for dropping by!

Your lovely daughter is merely shy, eager to see something new in a different setting. She actually is reserved, just being careful about jumping in too quickly - but the wonderful fun activities are just waiting for her. Soon she will have many fun stories to tell...

That is so much for kids. Looks like Rylie was enjoying it. It just takes a while for the kids to adjust with some other kids. Great photos.

Hi Rose,
Thanks for dropping by my blog the other day. I loved to see the pictures of your family here, including your two lovely dogs, Champ and Chelsea.

I can see how much you enjoy life within the few minutes I here...a joy so contagious about livin' life.

I used to teach VBS at our church years ago, and all my three children would love to attend it every school break. It's a place where memorable Bible stories are imprinted on the children's heart.

Blessings,
Lidj

Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
