My Home Schooler

I missed the theme for last week's Mommy Moments and almost missed this week again so even if it's late already since it is already Saturday in the Philippines, I am posting one lol. This week was a pretty busy week for me and my home schooler. I started to really focus on teaching her the basic staff like writing the letters the right way and a little bit of reading.

We tackled arts last Wednesday and we used the gift that Tita Shy gave Rylie (Thanks Tita for the Flashcards). She really enjoys doing arts stuff. Then yesterday I taught her the tagalog alphabet, she found it hard to really do the tagalog one but she tried. To make it easier for her, I taught her the alphabet song in tagalog lol.

I thought for sure that she would forget to read the colors that I taught her on the second day of our lesson but she did pretty good. She didn't miss any at all.

She will start going to kindergarten next month so she is very excited about it. The best friend bag that she has was a gift for her on her 3rd birthday in Korea. We also bought one for EJ when we were there as he wanted a backpack too. Then she wanted an extra one so we bought her the pixie bag last week. The Dora one was a gift to her a couple of years ago.

Friday was Daddy's turn because Science and Math are his forte. They did pretty good with it too. We are so proud of you Rye.! Thank you for peeking at my late posts fr Mommy Moments.

great job, Rose...teaching her before school starts is a great advantage....

every summer before Jake goes back to school i teach him, too....that way he would a little bit advance and it is easier for him when his teacher present them the lesson :-)

Thanks for the homeu post. God bless you all always.

I love Rylie's bags; they're really nice! I salute you, too, mommy, for homeschooling your kid. It takes really hard work and loads of patience to do that. You're a one-of-a-kind mom!

Wiii ang daming bags :) at I also love the set of colors ha.

Mommy just an FYI. The Filipino alphabet now is the same with the English alphabet, except for two additonal leters the ng, and enye (my laptop cannot recognize the key for the correct enye, sorry). The Filipino alphabet is read the same as english alphabet too.
