Revolutionary War Park

When you visit Weirton, you will see at the entrance of the town the display of some military war crafts honoring the veterans. I am not really sure what the place is called. I told my husband that I really want to go there someday. I was so thankful when he brought us the other day while the weather was a little bit warm.

The place is very neat,a great one actually to walk around to. There is a hall and benches around the park.

These two burritos had so much fun running around the place and checking everything out. You may enlarge the photos through clicking it.

I will post the rest of the photos next time folks. Have a great weekend everyone.

You and John are taking your children where bravery and service are remembered. They will have an appreciation for US history because of taking these trips.

We do not want to forget the past...

It is nice seeing Weirton, as I went to college in Steubenville, but graduated a while ago (1977). THe Fort Steuben Bridge was the only way to get to Wertron then. Nice US 22!

It's always nice to go out and visit lovely places just like that.

I haven't been out for quite some time... maybe this summer since the kids are already on vacation.

It's great that your children could visit this war park so that they can have a sense of history and appreciation of the brave deeds of soldier heroes. Since John was formerly connected with the US Navy, there is an added interest on things like these for his family. At least nakagala rin ang mga anak ninyo after being holed up inside your house for so long because of the harsh winter conditions outside. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
