Hometown

Let me take you to the place where I grew up through my sister Zilreen Mae's photos.  She tagged me  the album she uploaded in Facebook about her recent trip to our home in Donsol, Sorsogon, Philippines.

Flipping through the photos makes me nostalgic.  I miss the scent of the ocean and the feeling of the sand when you walk barefooted  in the seashore.  Ahhh  makes me want to go home and see my Mom and family, if only I could!

Some of my nieces and nephew.

I miss watching the sunset too.  We live very close to the ocean (about 50 meters away).  What I miss most is  cooking freshly caught fish.

I like this jump shot they took, full of fun and joy.
I am glad that my sister ; listened to me when I told her to  hold on to the opportunity that the school has given her of being a student assistant.  She wanted to quit after a year of trying but I told her that she has to help herself  if she wants to really pursue her studies.  Granted that we  can give her everything that she need in school but I want her to learn  the ethics of working.
She was assigned for two years at a high school department so she couldn't really take all the subjects that  she needed.   I talked to my friend who is the secretary at the President's office if they could accommodate her there so she can take  more subjects.  She is now assigned and working at the President's Office  and under the supervision of my friend, thanks Ate Chay.  She is now fourth year but will not be able to  graduate because of the subjects that she failed to get  due to her former assignment.  She took a part time job during the summer break at the Nursing Department in the school.  I think she is in the right track and I am very happy with that.

Finding Nemo Musical Show in Disney World

After we spent some walking from Dinorama attraction in Disney World, we wanted something cooler as the heat of the sun outside was very intense. We tried the Finding Nemo musical show and it was a really good one.
Taking  picture without a flash was allowed so I took  some shots before and  while the show was going on.
Finding Nemo - The Musical gives guests the chance to be literally immersed in the story of Marlin and Nemo through the combination of puppets, dancers, acrobats and animated backdrops. It's performed in the now enclosed Theater in the Wild in DinoLand U.S.A, the former home to "Tarzan Rocks". The theater itself was updated with innovative lighting, sound, and special effects to create Nemo's undersea environment. Like the Broadway version of Disney's "The Lion King", the audience sees the performers as well as their puppets throughout the show.

Not only does the audience get a chance to see the well loved story in a new production, but they enjoy the original songs written just for the show, including "Big Blue World", also heard at The Seas with Nemo and Friends at Epcot, and Crush's big number, "Go With the Flow", a tribute to 60s surfing music. source - allears.net

It was  one fabulous show to watch.

Paddle Boats

My son and I chose to enjoy the paddle boat instead of Jack Rabbit ride where Hubby and Ms. Burrito went. Height and speed is not Mr. Burrito and I's thing so we enjoyed the slow and relaxing one.
There is an extra fee to  go on a paddle boat.  It cost $5  per boat for 30 minutes.   The guy told us the  rules that need to be obeyed  for safety reasons.  Violation of the rules would result to the riders being pulled from the attraction.
I tell you, it was a good exercise for my legs but  my son and I had fun!
Kennywood Park is a great place to enjoy outdoor fun!

OLDE KENNYWOOD RAILROAD

We got tired of  exploring the Kiddieland at Kennywood so we tried  the  Olde Kennywood Railroad attraction.  It  is a relaxing trip along the top of the bluff overlooking the Monongahela River.  Not only that  I enjoyed the relaxing train ride but most  especially, I enjoyed the view.  Amusement parks certainly  brings the youth feeling in YOU!
As the train moves along, there is a history   being played and pictures are displayed for the  riders to see the different  scenes depicting Western Pennsylvania history.
According to their information, the engines, although different in style and color, were first used in the 1939 World's Fair.  I think it's spectacular that the amusement  park has been around for 114 YEARS already.
We definitely want to go back to Kennywood  in the coming years.

My Sunglasses

We have been having  heatwaves so we don't really go out when the heat of the sun is pretty intense.  Whenever my kids  goes swimming, I always put  sun lotion on their skin to avoid being sun burnt.  Too much heat of the sun  causes me migraine so I always   wear my sunglasses on when we go out.  Mine isn't a rayban rb3293 but I like it because it protects my eyes and  it avoid me from getting a migraine.

It's been..
