September Afternoon

Just one ordinary afternoon in September, a visit to my FIL ended up with a family walk around Marland Heights. Too bad that my FIL can no longer walk that far, we always encouraged him to go with us though. The photos below were taken last Saturday.
Our weekend  was spent  in bowling alley, a quick  lunch at Taco Bell , a visit to  my FIL and a family walk.

I love the view in Marland Heights, you can see part of Ohio on the other side.
Have fun with us in posting your favorite color through Color Connection.  Also linking this post to Pink Saturday and Shadow Shot

Is that the Market Street Bridge across the river? I know why they call West Virginia 'Almost Heaven' - on those big hills, you are that much closer! As always, yours is a beautiful family!

Great pics! What a lovely view from Maryland Heights. I can't get over how lovely it is!!! Oh the places I want to go. :) Champ and Chelsea are so cute. I love Pomeranians! I've had 2 over the years. After the loss of my last one I haven't been able to bring myself to get another one because I don't want to go through that again. We get so close to our sweet pets! :) Thanks for following my blog and for stopping by!!!

Well, I don't know if your hubby is still in the Navy, but I'm a Navy brat married to a retired Marine, sugar! You give that man a hug from me for serving his country. My daughter in law is from the Philippines and she went through a great deal of difficulty to get to this country, which I LOOOOVE!!
