Feeding Wildlife

We discovered something when we last went to Tomlinson Run. During our previous visits, we always go to the lake and at the picnic area but this time, we went where there is a big field.
The geese seemed excited when they saw us.
They enjoyed the treat that the kids gave them.
I went on the other side to take photos of the flowers and saw this sign "Feeding Wildlife Prohibited."  We didn't know that so we  have violated the rules without us knowing wahhh.
Anyhow, that would be the last time we would feed them.  Sorry.
Have a nice weekend everyone!

Ooops - geese can be aggressive sometimes, but these seemed very tame. Love the pics.

Too much bread is bad for the geese as well as us, but it looks like they enjoyed your company.

Cute photos, I am sure the kids had fun feeding the geese. They can be big piggies. That is probably why they do not want people feeding them.

Probably the authorities feared that some visitors, especially children, will feed the wildlife with rich food that could be hazardous to the health of these wildlife creatures. I'm sure your kids fed them with natural food that are safe for them. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

Lovely photos Rose. When we were kids we always took our left-over bread to feed the ducks and geese. Now everywhere we go there are signs saying don't feed the wildlife. Oh well!
