Traveling through Museum

Let's travel through  Cleveland Museum of Arts.  Museums is just a perfect place to  have kids's imagination soar.  It's a 2 hours and 15 minutes drive from where we live but it's worth the drive and the time.  The kids had so much fun exploring the endless possibilities of information and entertainment.
I am not sure  if they closed when the government shut down but I figure that they did because it's a government operated facility.  Isn't that awful that government officials can't come up with a unanimous decision and could not come with an agreeable conclusion?

Weekend School Project

When Ms. Burrito came home from school last Friday, she has a project to make.  She wanted to  make it that day but we  did not have the materials.  So after  the get together that we had yesterday with the Brady and Worthington families, they went to the store and bought some materials to use.
We did her project first thing this morning before we ate breakfast.
We had to decorate the  number 100 with 100 different things and that is what we came up with.
Have a good week ahead everyone!

Art Day

To make our lessons at home more fun, we scheduled an art day for these two burritos. Hubby bought some pompoms, google eyes, and pain for them to create some art stuff.  My share for  MellowYellowBadge and Blue Monday.
Both of them love to do this kind of activity where they can express their own creativity.
The first one is the one that Ms. Burrito  has made and the next one is Mr. Burrito's.
My job is to take photos, give ideas, and clean up the mess afterwards.  IT's  a joy to watch them work together though.  Have a blessed Sunday everyone.

Painting the Universe

Our daughter has been bugging us to buy her some styrofoam balls so she could paint it like she's painting the different planets in the universe so when we went to the store the other day, we bought her a pack of it. She and her brother had a blast painting it. Instead of painting eggs, they painted Styrofoam balls.

Messy but Fun!

A couple of days ago when we visited my FIL, my husband, dad, and I were setting at the back porch talking and the kids were inside the house coloring books. The kids got so quiet all of the sudden and hubby said "I bet they are doing something that they are not suppose to." True enough, when hubby checked, they trashed Dad's kitchen hall with the water color that they were using.

They decided to use their hands instead of paint brush so the result was a big mess. Look how guilty the little one is explaining why they did it lol.
Don't you just love it when they do that? Well, they kept us all busy cleaning up the mess.

Since EJ's clothes were trashed, he did not have a choice but to use one of Dad's old shirt lol. We were making fun of him outside the porch and he was running around with the fireman hat on.

Oh boy, I am so grateful that God gave me two burritos that keeps me busy all the time. That's the spice of being a parent.

It's Arts Time

John and Rylie was in the mood for coloring the art book that Tita Chris gave Rylie. I am the observer and the photographer of course. Then I was having fun eating some clementine's and hubby though of taking shots of my go0finess lol. You might be wondering where our little boy was, he is taking a little snooze at that time.

Some people are not really fond of capturing photos but I encourage you to do so because when you're kids grow up, you will have something to look back too when you miss having them around.

It's been..
