Super Heroes Wannabe

I am not sure if your children watched the Teen Titans show on TV but my kids loved it. Too bad they aren't showing it anymore.  Ms. Burrito like Raven the most out of the five teens and Mr. Burrito like Robin.  That'w why they were wearing  the teen titan's costume from last year's Halloween.
He likes spiderman and she likes superwoman.

Sharing my super heroes wannabe.

Jeju Island - Nostalgia # 63

Photobucket
Hello there guys, this is a scheduled post for those who will be joining this week's Nostalgia.

Below is a shot of the hotel where we stayed when we  had our island hopping  in Jeju, Korea.  It was one of our last adventures in the land of the morning calm before we came back here in the States.

PS: I will visit your entries when we come back from our getaway this Saturday. Thanks for joining.

Update:

We are now back but I will just link this to Mommy Moments since I haven't upload any photos of our  trip  to Disney World yet.

Organizing, Cleaning, Filing...etc.

Here's what's keeping me busy for days now. That's the reason why I haven't bloghop as much as I used to. I only bloghop during night time when everyone here are all asleep.
I helped hubby assembled the computer desk that my BIL Rick  gave us. We put it at the basement since we  already have a big one upstairs which is the one that I am using.
I also transferred some of our files down there to free my  desk from too much  clutter.
Organized the kids toys and put it at one side of the basement.  Below is the shelf that I got for free from SIL hris during their  yard sale.  I was going to use to  stack up my pocketbook collection but used it as a shoe rack for kids instead.
So far, the kids are behaving good in not trashing  all the work that I did.
My desk.  I only  leave the folders  which we usually have bills monthly, most of the files went downstairs.
Our basement is  much organized now although we haven't had any furniture there yet but at least it is clean and pleasing to the eyes hehehe.
These are the  projects that my daughter  did in kindergarten.
Here's how the desk downstairs looked like.
I  put all the vases together on the other side of my desk.

Port of Entry - Nostalgia # 51

PhotobucketToday (May 4th) marked the day when I left my home country Philippines. My port of entry was Guam, I arrived there early morning of May 5th.  I was seven months pregnant when I  flew going to Guam.  Luckily Philippines is just a 4-hour flight to Guam.  I was scared to go because that was my very first to to fly alone and it was going out the Philippines, geezawhiz.  Imagine what  thoughts were running in my mind lol.

Since preggy tales is what the theme for this week's Mommy Moments, this will be my  entry too.
These are a the folks that I met in Guam.  Hubby and I stayed there for a couple of days  and then we flew coming here.  I was really tired but what can I do.  Good thing that my daughter was a real trooper.  I was running at the huge  airport in Houston in order for us to catch the connecting flight.  Hubby left me  just so he could tell our flight to wait for us.  That was a flight I could never forget.  The moment I set my feet on the plane, the content of my tummy just came out lol.
Dolly, Yuko, and I.
I have been living here for more than four years, two years in Korea, and I have been away from home for six years.  I miss home!

In Black and White

The theme for this week at Mommy Moment is Black and White.  My first camera which is an Olympus has a  B&W  feature but my newer one which is a Sony Cybershot don't.

Anyhow, the  first two pictures of our Burritos were taken when we were still in Korea.  I was exploring the  features of my first camera.

This one at the bottom was taken by one of the picture booth at Chuck e Cheese during Jake's birthday.
Thanks for dropping by everyone!

Air Show Rainbow Fun

In my  6 years of living here in the States, I have never seen a rainbow yet.  Can you believe that?  This is the closest rainbow I have seen here lol.
Anyhow, I would like to invent a rainbow through my pride and joy, my family!  Below are some  some of the photos that were taken when we attended an air show in Ohio.
I hope that we could attend again this year.
Here wishing everyone a Good Friday and Happy Easter! We will be coloring eggs today.

Longing for Warm Weather

I posted some of the photos that I took last weekend when we went to the park with the kids. It was chilly but they did not mind it, I did lol!  Do you see the chipmunk below?  Click the photo to enlarge and see.
Mr. Burrito dug out his Dad's  military  hats and found this round one and used it.
Ms. Burrito is testing her balance skill in the balance beam.
Hubby wanted to see if I can still walk in this balance beam without falling.  As it turned out, I still can hehehe.
They got sick because4 of this activity but  according to the kids it's worth it lol.
I just did not like the fact that they got cold out of it.

Here's our summer plans  for this year.
  • To have our porch renovated.
  • Meet a family friend down in Florida this summer.. Wee can't wait.
  • For me to get back on driving on the road.. sigh lol..
  • Since we are not  enrolling  Mr. Burrito to pre-school, I will be doing the  tutoring at home for him.

A Dash of White

The them for this week's Mommy Moment is White. We don't have much white but here are some with a dash of white in them.  First up is Ms. Burrito on top of the counter top.  I taught her how to make rice in the rice cooker.  I told her that she has to learn how to make so when I am sick she can do it for me.  Now she  volunteers to make every time she is home and  I am in the kitchen to cook.

Below is her white lappy, she  practices typing there.  See how  serious she is with bloging wahahahaha.
Below is an artist in the making.  She just got up that time but she wants to do her  shrinky dinks already.  Thanks Mami Shy.
Here's Mr. Burrito, posing for me with  the valentine pressies that he got from our neighbor.
The pizza crew in the kitchen.
The fashionista getting ready for the summer and a craftista sporting her  heart paper.
The model and the saint hehehe.  Sorry folks, if I brag too much about my kids.  I just love them!
Who wouldn't love this aura?  He is ornery sometimes but he is  a really good boy.
These colorful chalks give so much  entertainment to kids.
Lastly is a snowy white fun that we had with Champ.

It's been..
