VBS - High Seas Expedition

These are the photos of the last day from Rylie's Vacation Bible Study (VBS) at St. Joseph School. EJ actually participated on the last part of the program because he saw Sarah (our neighbor who is a volunteer there). I am so proud of Rylie for being so independent, she never had any problem being away from us.
Here's the band that gives the children a mini concert every day by the end of the program. It is a joy to watch the kids having fun with them music. The were all dancing and singing.
I like this very friendly lady who is a volunteer too. I never got to ask her name though. She assisted Rylie the whole time.
I think, our daughter had picked up something for other kids or she just get so exhausted from the four-day event that is why she got sick. During the last day, she wasn't feeling very well.
That's the last body painting art that she got that says "High Seas Expedition."

Happy Ruby Tuesday everyone!

VBS - Third Day

This is the third day of our daughter's VBS at St. Joe's. We did not see much of what they did during that day because we got there a little late. The singing and dancing time was about to start when we arrived.
She likes this painting on her face. She said that she is a cat woman hehehe. Meow!
We plan to enroll EJ on VBS too next year, I think that he would be old enough to attend to this kind of activity. Hopefully, he will be able to stay without "MOM and Dad" on his side lol.

VBS - Second Day

Here are some photos I took during Rylie's second day at the Vacation Bible Study held at St. Joseph School. She wasn't shy anymore when we send her there.

She really had so much fun on this summer event as she had a chance to socialize with other kids her age.

Her favorite part is the body painting, she's always excited to show us what painting she had for the day.

Vacation Bible Study - First Day

My daughter attended her first Vacation Bible School/Study last year when we were still in Korea. So this year, we decided to let her attend again in the nearby catholic school here in our area. The event was dubbed as "High Seas Expedition" which my husband love because he was then a sailor hehehe.
The four-day event has three hours of activities each day which includes Bible reading, crafts, and games.

It was held at the Gym of St. Joe's.

Parents are invited to come early during the last 30 minutes each day so they could participate to the closing activity which is a mini concert where Christian songs are being sung by the official singer of St. Paul's Church.

Rylie was a little shy during the fist day and she did not interact more with other kids but during the last three days, she did very well associating with the other participants.

We were so glad that we know someone (Sarah is our very kind neighbor) Rlie clung to her the first day.

She enjoyed having paint/art in some part of the body which highlighted each day she's there. Thank you so much for dropping by!

It's been..
