Soarin the Mountain and Seas

Some of the photos of us during our last day of park hopping in Disney World. One of the Epcot attractions that we really love is the Soarin. We experienced an exhilarating adventure, a hang -gliding  tour  of seeing beautiful places of the Golden State, California.
We were fastened to a seat belt  on the multi-passenger glider and was  lifted 40 feet into the air.  You will soar and  see panoramic scenes of California.  You will feel like you were really flying when the glider moves  the same way as the aircraft.
It was an amazing experience for all of us.  Heights is not my cup of tea so I was literally screaming  my lungs out while Soarin the mountains and seas lol.

My kids really want to go back in Disney World so may be if  we could find a decent price for plane tickets for the four of us, it's a possibility.  We love it there and we  definitely would love to do it again.

Fun times in Florida

It's a joy to remember our fun-filled vacation in Orlando Florida last year. We met the Dias family and we all explored the magical Disney World.  Below are some  photos  that I am very fond of.
What more could be  fun  than meeting another family friend and spent it in  a fantasy   place like Disney!

Kali River Rapids Expedition

One of the Animal Kingdom's attraction that we went to is the Kali River Rapids.  To get in, you have to fall in line (it's long as usual.)   Waiting in line is  hard especially if you have kids but at the end of  the line, there is this ancient Southeast Asian temple where there are  neat and interesting displays that entertained us while we waited for our turn..
At least, you will be entertained looking at these displays before you can ride the white raft.
Good thing, we spent our Disney vacation with our family friend, the Dias family from Texas.  Our Burritos got to  play with their  friend Akesha.  Happy happy birthday dear Akesh, we  wish you  a healthy and  happy life.  We miss and love you!
"Kali River Rapids flows through a dense rain forest and past waterfalls, temple ruins, and bamboo thickets, emerging into a cleared area where greedy loggers have ravaged the forest, and finally drifting back under the tropical canopy as the river cycles back to Anandapur. Along the way, your raft runs a gauntlet of raging cataracts, logjams, and other dangers."  source:touringplans.com
The line was so long but the  ride itself only takes 3 to 4 minutes which  is not enough to compensate the time you've waited in line.  I was glad that we  did it in the afternoon when the weather was so hot because when we got wet, we felt a little refreshed.  The ride  did not have a tour guide,  so navigation was fully  depend on the twist and turn that the raft will bump into.  We designated our son as the captain of our  raft that day lol.
We all got wet but with smiles in our faces.  It was a fun and exciting adventure that was full of twist and turns  in a rapid river.

Finding Nemo Musical Show in Disney World

After we spent some walking from Dinorama attraction in Disney World, we wanted something cooler as the heat of the sun outside was very intense. We tried the Finding Nemo musical show and it was a really good one.
Taking  picture without a flash was allowed so I took  some shots before and  while the show was going on.
Finding Nemo - The Musical gives guests the chance to be literally immersed in the story of Marlin and Nemo through the combination of puppets, dancers, acrobats and animated backdrops. It's performed in the now enclosed Theater in the Wild in DinoLand U.S.A, the former home to "Tarzan Rocks". The theater itself was updated with innovative lighting, sound, and special effects to create Nemo's undersea environment. Like the Broadway version of Disney's "The Lion King", the audience sees the performers as well as their puppets throughout the show.

Not only does the audience get a chance to see the well loved story in a new production, but they enjoy the original songs written just for the show, including "Big Blue World", also heard at The Seas with Nemo and Friends at Epcot, and Crush's big number, "Go With the Flow", a tribute to 60s surfing music. source - allears.net

It was  one fabulous show to watch.

Disney World's Castle, Tree House, and River Boat

Here's another batch of our fun-filled week in Disney World last year.  Most of these  shots were taken by my friend Dhemz, thanks sis.
From our  princesses favorite castle to the tree house, the fun never  ends.  I did not really grasp the  story behind this tree house until I saw the movie just lately hehehe.

After so many walking and  climbing, we  took some rest by  taking the short cruise through the Riverboat Landing attraction.
Bananas  and oranges were our snacks most of the time.  We decided to bring fruit  because snacks inside  Disney World is  very expensive.

Mad Tea Party

One of the  attractions in Disney World's Magic Kingdom Park  that I did not  have the courage to try is the Mad Tea Party.  I don't think I would be able to hold up my composure  riding in tea cups that spinning so fast.  The kids and the dads  tried it though.

Mad Tea Party is a giant tea cup ride that spins big kids, teens and adults in circles at Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom theme park.  Take a giant tea cup out for a spin! Pour yourself into one of 18 colorful over sized tea cups and feel like you've entered Wonderland for a colorful, musical party ride that is sure to send you spinning.
Enjoy wide, gradual turns as you glide along or go on a wild, dizzying madcap adventure that spins you frantically round and round in circles. Each tea cup ride vehicle has a wheel in the center that lets you control how fast your cup spins. The faster you turn the wheel, the faster you spin!  This wonderfully wacky tea party is right out of The Mad Hatter and the March Hare's "Unbirthday" party from Disney's Alice in Wonderland. It will have you dizzy with laughter!
