Nostalgia # 27 - Cross Stitch

My entry this week is the very first cross stitch   project that I made.  When I got pregnant with Rylie, hubby suggested that I should take a leave of absence from my work  in order to  take extra care of my pregnancy.  I was glad that I took a leave because my  conception wasn't well.  I was always puking my guts out (opps sowi for those who are eating)  every morning for the first trimester of my pregnancy.  I was living in an apartment then and got used to working everyday so  I was a bit bored.

I decided to explore on making something.  I never tried cross stitching before but I thought that it was a nice  project to do to keep me occupied.  A friend told me to start with the easy pattern but I fell in love with this one when I saw the pattern.  Of all the  the pieces I've made this was  the most expensive because I used a lot of materials.  All part of this piece has cross stitch.  It was hard especially for a beginner like me but I had fun.

I brought all of it here  in a frame but unfortunately, all the glasses got broken in transit.  I was going to have it framed again in here but when I inquired, it was so dang expensive so I just displayed it without glasses lol.

Alrighty folks, thanks once again for joining in.  don't forget to leave comments and your link.

Christmas Tree

Everyday, my daughter would ask me when are we going to put up our Christmas tree. I told her that we have to wait till the Thanksgiving is over. My husband is planning to buy us a real Pine tree to use as our Christmas tree. I like the idea because it does smell good inside the house. I just don't like the fact that you can only use it once and that it's prices are a little expensive too. If we have to buy a new christmas tree, I want it the artificial one so that we can use it again and again. For me, it's a practical thing to do, don't you think?

Wishing for a Bigger House

my KSA!
I know that it is impossible, but I do wish that we could be debt-free so I can sleep like a log during at night lol. Hubby and I also wishes for a bigger house because right now, we only have a two-bedroom house which isn't ideal for the four of us. Soon, the kids would want to have their own space so we will definitely need a three or four bedroom house.  I also wish to win the lottery so I could do the first two wishes, the problem is that I don't play lol.  These are wishes upon a star.

Light.. Camera.. Action - FUN!

We got bored the other day when we visited my FIl so the kids and I got out at the  patio and we did some photo shoots courtesy of the camera's timer hehehe.
Rylie had so much fun posing in front of the camera.
Our sweet tooth prince can't let go of the donut that he was eating so  of all the shots, you can see his donut.
EJ's height is catching up with Ate Rylie.  Thanks for  dropping by  folks and for leaving your trails for me to follow.

Fun Day at the Park

We had a warm day last Friday so we took the kids to Starvaggi Park when our daughter came out from school.  We want them to enjoy the nice weather while we still have it once in a while.  Today was a  rainy and cold day so we stayed the whole day at home.  We visited Dad for a couple of hours and we came home.
Our daughter took the shot above.  This will be good to look at when hubby and I's hair are both gray already lol.
Why is it that when we are kids, all we can think of is play, play, and more play.  But when  we get older, all we can think of is how to pay off bills LOL!
Father and son had a great bonding moment, they play and ran together.
Mother and daughter  had some silly moments too.  Have a good week ahead everyone.  Thanks for sharing your sweet time with us and for sharing your thoughts.

It's been..
