USS Lexington #Flight Deck

Going inside the USS Lexington in Corpus Cristi, Texas sure brought a lot of  memories for my husband during the times when he was still in the service.  IT was an educational  thing that we did as we learned about the history.  When we first got inside, we watched a video presentation of how  the airplane was  invented/created.  Then after the presentation, we went on the flight deck where there are  planes  being displayed.

Surely is a fun time we had  with the Dias family.

As you can see, not only that the kids enjoyed it but the big kids as well lol.

Glad you and family enjoyed your trip to Texas. Our state does have a lot of history to share.

Cool and historic Navy aircraft - I like the F-18 Blue Angels plane of course, but am drawn to the much older T-28 with its radial Wright engine and Hamilton-Standard prop. The look of the past. Great family time!

This reminds me of our cruise last year. Totally big and gigantic ship. The pictures you have shared are absolutely nice to look at. Makes me wish I could go there and get to enjoy some time aboard. I love the very last photo were everyone including "the big kids" get to enjoy with everyone else.
