My husband and I has been going back and forth discussing if we are going to forego with buying the house that we looked at and like a few months back. The owner of the house is desperate to sell it but they wouldn't back down the price that they want. We know that we could afford the monthly mortgage but with the housing market being down, we figure that the value of the house is not really worth it.
Some people chooses the low income housing because it fits their budget and it's not as stressful as having a house with a big mortgage payment every month. In this economy, we should always consider every possibility that can be thrown our way. So for now, hubby and I are just concentrating on upgrading the house just in case we decided to forgo buying a new one and sell this one.
