September Afternoon

Just one ordinary afternoon in September, a visit to my FIL ended up with a family walk around Marland Heights. Too bad that my FIL can no longer walk that far, we always encouraged him to go with us though. The photos below were taken last Saturday.

Our weekend  was spent  in bowling alley, a quick  lunch at Taco Bell , a visit to  my FIL and a family walk.

I love the view in Marland Heights, you can see part of Ohio on the other side.

Revisiting Memorial Park for Veterans - Nostalgia # 72

 Last Year, we visited this small park which is dedicated to the service men and veterans  from West Virginia. I told hubby that we should bring Dad in this place because he said that he's never been in that place although it is just  located  in downtown where he lives.

 Anyhow, we finally did brought him there last Sunday after we attended Gracie's birthday party in Follansbee.  It's nice to listen  to the two vets talking about their experiences in the service.

 I would like to  take as many photos as I can with Dad with us so when  the kids  grow up, they will see it and  remember how they  do  things together with their Pap.

 It was a beautiful day.  My FIL said that he sweat walking around the area lol.  Thanks for  going with us Dad!

Business Blood Line

Putting up a business requires a good funding  which will serve as the bloodline of your company.  You will need a big a capital  for equipment lease and buying  everything that you need.  It would be nice to own a small business where you can run.   However, having your own business means a  great responsibility that you have to face everyday.  You have to make sure that everything is  going  smoothly and when problem arises, it's stressful.

Church Wedding

Next month, hubby and  I will be reminiscing once again the church wedding that we had before we came here in the States.  We don't really have to  do it but my husband  wanted to give me a decent wedding that   my family and friends could attend to.  It was only us and two sponsors who were present when we had our civil wedding.  Browsing the selection  of scott kay jewelry online makes me remember that  precious moment.  I feel  like a princess that time hahaha.  Oh time flies, we have been married for 8 years now and enjoying  the blessings from God, our two  children.

Kid at Heart

When my husband (then boyfriend) went to visit my family   for the first time in the Philippines, He spent hours  playing with my nieces and nephews.  I knew right there and then that he would be a great Dad.  

He is 42 years old but he is a kid at heart who love to  spend time with  us.  No matter how  tired my husband is, he would  make sure to play with the kids whenever they ask him to.

He is the kind of  Dad who is willing to give up a good paying job  just to be with his family.  I remember when  he was still in active duty, he was offered  to go to Iraq in exchange of a big bonus that would be given to him but he chose  to go to Korea instead even if the pay was  average. because in the latter, he gets to take us with him.  I am so proud of him for that!

KUDOS to all the Dads who are kid at heart just like my husband.  It makes a huge difference to the development of the kids when you spend qyuality time with them.

Money can't buy those happiness that kids feel when parents are there  to play and be there for them all the time.
