The Breakup

I wasn’t sure what to do when my boyfriend and I broke up a few months ago but the first thing I HAD to do was buy a house of my own. I’d been living with him for 2 years but there wasn’t anything I could do to avoid having to move out and it was all just a lot to handle at once. I really do love my old house that I bought and it’s fitting my needs well right now but man, it’s been an adjustment living alone all of a sudden. I got a Security CHoice alarm to make me sleep better at night and I’ve picked up gardening which has been a nice distraction. I know it’s the best thing that Nate and I aren’t together anymore but it’s really, really hard for me to come to grips with my new single life. All my friends want me to start dating again but I’m just not anywhere near being able to commit to something new so I don’t really see the point.
