So sorry for my late entry folks, we attended a station f the cross this morning and wasn't able to blog. Anyhow, my entry is a local bag that was given to me by my friend Haide (photo on the right) from Bicol. It is a bag made from abaca. Then if you can see the key chain, it is made of pili nut, a nut that is mostly grows in Bicol.
I haven't use this bag yet but I showcased it at the cultural fair here in our place. Thanks a lot Haidz!
Let me tell you a little bit about Haide. She is one of my classmates and became close friends back in college. We also went together in graduate school but unfortunately she did not forgo with her course. She confessed to me when we were having a retreat during college that she did not like me during our freshman year because I look "suplada" because of my eye glasses and when I did my report in History, I delivered it without reading. So she thought, I am one of those "know it all" student. Anyhow, on our sophomore year, that was when she realized I am not the person that she initially perceived to be. So I became her Ate in school. Haide is the one in the middle on the small photo I copied from FB. She is now married and on its way of their first baby. Congratulations and may you have a healthy pregnancy and baby!
