Nostalgia # 29 - Pittsburgh Airport

Hello memory lane travelers, sorry for the delay.   We have snow today (still snowing) so we got busy playing snow ball fighting.  Also did my laundry and just got done  folding and putting away clothes, whew!  Now my head is thumping because of migraine who love me so much wahhhh.  Anyhow, sorry for  lamenting so much lol..

We left Korea on December 3 last year and traveled for almost 17 hours but when we arrived here in the States, it was still December 3. Weird isn't it? The time difference between the Land of the Morning Calm and Uncle Sam is 12 hours, that's why we left and arrived on the same date.  It was an arduous flight we have ever been but at least I got to see japan even  just a glimpse at the airport lol.

Below are photos taken in Pittsburgh airport, it's actually outside already.  We were just waiting for our ride.  Thanks Jim and Chris for fetching us.

Yes, those were nostalgic moments when you arrived at the US after a long tiring voyage from Korea. It was a stop over before you proceeded to west Virginia. You must be missing your Christmas celebrations in Korea. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

Nahuli si Mel Cole, I hate this sleepy thing. I just can't resist it these days. I haven't experienced to be in Pittsburgh airport sis. I've seen the outside of it a lot of times though. I came through Erie airport when I came first in America, so yeah. I also had a short experience of the Nagoya airport in Japan before. Nice airport coz it's made of glass.

Daming nyong bagahe! hehehe. Nice to see your family's smiling faces, home sweet home.

hi, rose...ganda nga ng airport nayan, naalala ko un brother ko it was his flight back to australia yesterday when i wrote my nostalgia post, he kept reiterating how bad our NAIA airport was, and how their airport in Perth esp the lobby, was more like a hotel lobby...i could only share a shy laugh because i was more lonely, staying here w/ us for just 10days...think i could cry again...sorry, i'm so emotional these days...:)))

Good snaps sis. I love seeing different airports because I compare them from the other airports I have visited in the past. So far, the one in Singapore (Changi) and South Korea (Incheon) are the ones that really captivated me. As for modernity, Dubai doesn't fall behind. I also like Schiphol Intl. Airport in Amsterdam. It feels very cosy. :)
