My mother stayed for two days at my sister's boarding house in Legazpi City to celebrate her birthday and had her eyes examined. She was very happy when I called her on her birthday. I am glad that she was able to have eyeglasses before she went back to our hometown.
I am glad that there are affordable international calling cards available nowadays which makes it easier for us to call family and friends back home. It is one thing that lessen our homesickness and keep my communication to my family.
I would like to thank al the people who left greetings for my mother on the birthday post I made. During my conversation with Mama, she did not believe me that there are people who greeted her in my blog hehehe. Mama does not know how to use Internet so she doesn't know anything about blogging.
But anyhow, I still have a balance to the phone card I used to call her so I would be calling my sister pretty soon. She will be giving birth to her new baby so I think a call would tickle her.
