Our last time

These photos were taken the last time we went to our favorite spot to hangout. We will surely miss this place as it became a big part of our daily routine while we wait for Dad to come home.
My daughter usually bring a small snack to munch in and drinks.

My son's adventure would not be completed if we don't hike hehehe.

Busy Beaver

This was taken the other day.

I want to share this to you guys. When we went to Daegu two weeks ago, my daughter wanted a book of stickers but its a bit pricey to me plus it will just go to waste. So I made a bargain and explained to her that if we buy the stickers all it will cause is more walls for me to clean up. Itold her that I'd rather buy her mathematics books so she will learn from it. She thought about it and thank God, she agreed lol.

See, even her brother can share with the learning process.

The theme for Mommy Moments this week is "Chore Time". I was the eldest daughter in my family so my mother pretty much taught me household chores at an early age like cooking (i hate cooking then), doing laundry, cleaning the house, feeding the animals, and washing dishes.

Teaching our children some household chores at an early age is advantageous than waiting for a later time when they don't want to do it no more. When you involve your kids in doing things around the house, they would show interest right away. But you have to do it in a fun way so they would be more encouraged. My kids love to wash dishes (anything to do with water)
The love to help me cook too. At four, Rylie can make her own scrambled and boiled egg.
See how serious they are?

My daughter can also fold clothes very well now. Of course EJ has to help too (make mess lol). See inaamoy pa ni EJ eh.

Gardening and watering the plants is one of their most favorite chore.
Happy thanksgiving everyone! We did not have any fancy celebration here since we are so busy cleaning and packing, we just bought BBQ chicken for dinner.

Please Don't Disturb

This is what will happen if you disturb a baby who is sound asleep he he he.. I found my son's sleeping position so cute so I took a couple of pictures of him. He was ten months old in these photos.

Wahhhhhhhh.... He woke up because of the flash from the camera hahaha..

But then he was okay after I showed him the pictures lol.. Thanks for dropping by guys, have a nice day and happy blogging.. Take care!

Handling Conflict with Love

There's only one that I could remember that we had a mild understanding. When we were done renovating the house that we bought, my husband and I agreed to finally moved in. The problem was telling Dad about it. My husband did not want to leave Dad because we lived there for over a year and leaving him means that he will be alone again.

But anyhow, I kept making so makulit to him and so he snapped and told me "OKay start packing" with an angry voice. I was hurt and being so maarte and emo that I am, I cried and cried while I was packing our stuff.

I wasn't talking to him the whole time I was packing so he humbly told me he was sorry and hugged me. That was the only time we had a misunderstanding. The rest is just about his farts hehehe but we never argue or something like that. When one of us is mad, we just don't talk, we let our anger pass by first before we talk about it.

I am glad that my husband is a very understanding and loving man. I really don't like making arguments. For me, it is a waste of energy and it is a stain on your relationship. I always pray that God will keep us this way until our time comes.

Blue Lips

EJ's ate a candy that is color blue so of course I won't pass the opportunity to document it hehehe.

We let him see his lips in the mirror and after that, he was giving all of us kisses.. what a bonus!

Have a great week everyone. I may not visit you for a couple of weeks but I promise to get back to you as soon as we're done moving. My husband went to Daegu to ship the car today.

Fun in the Kitchen

This is my 5th entry to the 52 Weeks challenge hosted by Carin from Forever in Blue Jeans. My entries are not taken this week but I am sharing these photos taken at our kitchen a couple of months ago.
My husband took this when I was teaching my daughter how to make a lumpia or spring rolls.
Whenever I am cooking, my two little ones are always with me. They are always willing to help so I let them. My son seldom smiles on pictures so when he is in the mood, my daughter is always ready to take it.
If you are up for the challenge of having a photo with your kids every week, join us by visiting Carin's page. It's fun!

The theme for this week's Mommy Moments is "Yummy" so I thought of fusing these two post in one.

Our daughter Rylie love salad, fresh veggies and fruits.
Enjoying her caesar salad.
vegetable salad again.. that is what she like to order when we go eat outside.
EJ has a sweet tooth so all he cares about is dessert.. cookies, cake, brownies, etc..
Sometimes he likes potato soup too.
She love suman too.
And pickled cucumber.
Ummmm mommy's water melon shake.

EJ love friend rice or plain rice.

But one thing that they have in common is.. they both love EGGS!
Hubby love caldereta, adobo, afridata, bicol express, and leche flan.
We are going to miss Korean food.
Have a great weekend ahead everyone!

It's been..
